    On another note, I know it’s been mentioned the staff loves Cruz. Is he just not ready at this point? I was hoping he would be the starter at C this year based on reviews of him last season.

    I get what you’re saying. But I also think solid OTs in the portal are a dime a dozen these days. And if in there, the price is hefty. Not an easy thing to just go and grab a quality guy there

    I worked in compliance. Eligibility is determined generally by sport, but your 5 years is 5 years regardless. Once you enroll in college full-time the clock starts ticking. If he doesn’t play this season, he would not use a season in football. He did in baseball.

    He allegedly has had some issues all camp. The late arrival due to contract negotiations probably didn’t help. He has to want it.

    @LovingBuckeye just wanted to say thanks for sharing your insights on the Buckeyes and the civil conversations on the board. Nice to see between opposing fanbases. I worked in the compliance office at Ohio State and loved my time there. Great people all around in that department and in the football building. Looking forward to a great match up!
