  1. This right here. Easier path to playing time and more money…. Not everyone is willing to sit and work for PT then you mix in more money (we assume) doesn’t surprise you when kids pick that route. wish em luck and move on. We’ll see how it plays out
  2. Exactly. Not ideal, sure. Would have like to have him on our squad, of course but there’s still plenty of time and our upcoming season could change a lot of minds easy
  3. We just got the top class last year. Kinda hard to say we are getting our pants dropped when we have loaded talent on campus and schools like A&M throw crazy money at kids cause they sucked last year. This staff knows what they are doing and I bet it works out just fine for us still regardless if a couple chose somewhere else right now
  4. Jeff Howe! 79 in your roster book but #1 in our hearts! Shout out to ya even though you went down the road to San Marcos 🤣
  5. I’m sure adrenaline will take over, this is for the championship. Both teams will bring it and gotta love the in state rivalry for all the marbles.
  6. Genuinely saying “Texas baseball sucks” is dumb after a bad game. We have a solid team, had a good regular season and entered this as a 2 seed because we suck? Nah it was a let down of a game for sure but outside the 5 run inning we struggled and the left a lot on base. It happens, it ended up a bad game but overreacting and saying we suck was dumb.
  7. Dumb post. Some people just don’t know how to handle losing. Pros in every sport win and lose games. That’s sports. UTSA had a better day than us, hen we clearly weren’t at our best. It happens. Geez
  8. Too bad we didn’t have anyone on base for that one 🤣
  9. Blowing a 6-1 lead at home hurts. Let’s hope they pull it together on offense
  10. Yes awesome family. Been in this area for a long time and as much as Eric bleeds for OU I bet he would be just as happy if his youngest stayed close to home to play ball (since his other two are playing sports out of state). Tre is a good kid and a hard worker. I would love to see him wearing burnt orange but still think this is a wild one. Ha ha
  11. Wild to see a starter “sitting out or holding out due to contract negotiations” at the college level. You’re 19-21 years old “supposedly” already getting millions to play football and run around in college with said money. Why not just enjoy life and have fun at this point instead of blowing up the situation over money like you aren’t making enough at that age already. Smh. It’s just a different game now for real.
  12. I made my comment cause someone posted something along the lines Stoops worst teams would have beaten the OU we beat recently. So I meant it went both ways in the point that OU beat us when we were down in recent losses for us as well. Stoops had some strong teams and the battles against Mack’s teams were fun to watch. Then the Strong/Herman teams were a mess for us and they stayed the same even as seamless of a transition Stoops to Riley was for them. Their consistency over the years happened at a time we had a bunch of turnover and recruiting was all out of whack. the most surprising loss for me was when we were up 28-7 in the 1st and lost back in 2021
  13. That kinda goes both ways….. several of the past years OU beat us was some of our worst teams too. Still a win for them in the same as for us but they no longer have Stoops or Riley so they are entering our Strong/Herman era for some beat downs to even the score
