Well he is a Longhorn. And a freshman. And a playmaker by position….. so it kinda checks out imo. It’s the university of Texas, there are high expectations for everyone that steps on the field to be honest.

That’s sad for him really. I know it’s a business now but these dudes are young and being told you would be starting when you had other options out there just for this to happen sweeps that rug right out from under him with no where to go. It’s not like he can jump back in the portal now

Sorry if I missed it, but seeing that Nick Brooks went from us to Bama….. what really, I mean what was it that pushed him to transfer and end up with them? I don’t know anything about their line, is he penciled in as a starter or was he signed on as a backup there where he would have had a shot to earn PT here.

Texas Tech the company I work for has a HQ in Lubbock so naturally we hav Tech alum everywhere so it would be awesome to smack them around and shut up all the bragging from them about being top 10 just for surviving their intense schedule 🤣

Can’t blame them for working the system. It damn near guarantees them a CFP spot each year.
