    I made my comment cause someone posted something along the lines Stoops worst teams would have beaten the OU we beat recently. So I meant it went both ways in the point that OU beat us when we were down in recent losses for us as well. Stoops had some strong teams and the battles against Mack’s teams were fun to watch. Then the Strong/Herman teams were a mess for us and they stayed the same even as seamless of a transition Stoops to Riley was for them. Their consistency over the years happened at a time we had a bunch of turnover and recruiting was all out of whack. the most surprising loss for me was when we were up 28-7 in the 1st and lost back in 2021

    That kinda goes both ways….. several of the past years OU beat us was some of our worst teams too. Still a win for them in the same as for us but they no longer have Stoops or Riley so they are entering our Strong/Herman era for some beat downs to even the score

    This right here. It’s not about football. Someone needs to help him stop this from going the worst way possible for the guy. Clearly needs some different people in his closer circle

    Man Jeff and is family are pillars that helped build that community, true story. His pops was involved with everything and glad they were there by the time I showed up cause I would have been lost without Jeff. 💪

    Grew up Killeen/Ft Hood, went to school in Florence, TX then UT and bounced around the Austin, Round Rock area and have been in Cedar Park for the past 15 years or so but this area is getting way too crowded for me now 🤣

    Makes ya wonder what Day’s next moves will be as I doubt expectations of them repeating are gonna have to dwindle after the roster overhaul and oc/dc change is surely to mean more players hit the portal in the spring from there as well

    I said the same thing, if Luka takes this deal and works his ass off this is gonna be make the Mavs look real dumb. only time will tell now…. Maybe the Mavs end up right but I don’t see Luka going quietly here while living it up in LA.

    What a good guy. Loved his poise and demeanor. That line of not worried about legacy cause he just wants to win ball games was awesome. And the undeserving of the attention cause he hasn’t done anything shows this kid is gonna keep putting in that work. Excited for him and thankful for Quinn helping mold him up to this point to know what’s expected. Good stuff.

    Fair point. Arch will be comfortable in the red zone but I’m more interested in seeing how different the RZ play calling is from Sark next year

    Interesting. ND, Penn St and OSU could all potentially be learning completely new systems under new coaches next year. PSU returns more veterans than OSU but I think ND lost some key pieces too.

    He knew he was losing a senior heavy defense that was one of the best in college last year so he got a million dollar raise and moved to a team with more coming back next year. Smart move but crazy that in this scenario you win a championship and jump ship to a conference rival just like that

    I expect it to be done with the same enthusiasm the road dogg Jesse Jane’s would bring on his intros 😀 but I can’t wait til we get to hear that again for real.

    In all honesty the game moves so dang fast, it’s hard to see everything we see from the QB position. You’re talking about having to make split second decisions consistently and expecting to make the right read every time. Very hard to do, some make the plays and some miss. So many moving pieces all over the place too.

    Yeah that part would be cool. They are gonna lose a lot too so it will be an interesting rematch with a lot of new faces on both sides to see who reloaded better

    I just can’t see Riley Leonard of all QBs be the one to lead a team to the ship…. Especially against a defense like Ohio state. So regardless if ND defends well against OSU I just don’t see ND scoring enough to win. I also would hate to see OSU and Ryan Day/Chip Kelly win one but it is what it is since we didn’t beat them.

    Can’t really blame it on him. Training them is one thing. They make their own decisions and listen to more people form their inner circles I’m sure than just him

    Did we offer him or recruit him hard out of HS? Or was there no real interest from Evans to come here then?
