    Yeah it’s like some people think it’s starter level piece or bust. the staff still needs to have depth and try to develop guys that aren’t asking for starter $$

    Cignetti has definitely done a tremendous job of catching lightning in a bottle and sky rocketing to a championship. He deserves all the credit and accolades but doing it while having the oldest roster in college has its own advantages. Let’s see if he can maintain this level and stay on top while consistently doing “more with less” as they say since he doesn’t need highly ranked players to win. Will be interesting to see how the next couple years goes but never know the dude might be special and have a good thing going in Indiana. Hope we smack em next year in the playoffs….. 🤘

    If that’s the case, he probably transfers out again next year…. Unless Kiffin doesn’t take another transfer qb next year. But he has every year it seems so I guess we will see how that one plays out

    Insiders not saying anything could be cause they can’t or won’t. Not cause “they have no idea what’s going on” pretty sure a lot of stuff for us and the OL recruiting is behind the scenes on purposeful lock down from the media reporting it cause the staff knows they can’t mess up the OL this year. Period.

    Dang. That sucks. I liked how he stepped in at times and thought he would do well under Muschamp. Wonder if this was NIL related or thought he was gonna not get as much PT. Or both I guess could be right.

    Were those guys starters at previous spots or were they backups asking for guaranteed starts? im not surprised players would negotiate PT but guaranteed starting spots is crazy

    Played select basketball against him a couple times in high school. Our team walked into the gym at a Waco tournament the summer before his senior year, and no lie as we walked in RT was windmilling home a sick jam thru traffic. The gym went nuts and the athleticism on that guy was fun to watch on the court and on the field. Cool dude, was always smiling and glad he had an impact at UT but knew he could have done so much more before getting himself in trouble.

    Roy Miller. I grew up with the guy and used to pick on him cause he was younger than me “but not smaller” and he hated playing against me in video games. then enjoyed watching him become a college national champ and had a good run in the NFL setting himself up for life. ah the good ol west Fort Hood days…. Good times. 🤘

    It’s crazy funny reading Tech talking about us “buying a roster” or “we couldn’t even make it to the playoffs” when they 1. Clearly buy their roster just like we do. 2. Only made the playoffs cause B12 was weak af. Only to get sandblasted away like trash…. oh yeah and talking down Arch in the first half struggles but looking the other way about how he progressed and finished the season. Idiots. To each their own. we’re good. Hook em! 🤘

    I was thinking the same thing. Hope we get this guy but this portal has seen us get burned and makes me curious, any one know how many of our incoming transfers came to us, then went to other visits and still came around to sign with us? Versus how many came and signed somewhere else?
