    It’s crazy seeing in 2 different, 2 game stretches he had 1,000 yards combined. So in those 4 games alone he hit 2k. Madden type stats right there.

    Probably cause two years later he has a top 5/6 team that is in the CFP showing he can sustain a good program

    I wasn’t meaning for this to go back and forth this many times…. It doesn’t really matter but to clarify I meant 4 yrs playing. As if he could play as a senior, I wasn’t counting the redshirt yr lol and his family is all about letting him enjoy college. Why not come back as the alpha senior and light up college football for one last ride then go off into the league. That kid will be playing football for a long time. The decision is more about when will he want the college experience to be over and when will he want to open the next chapter really.

    I hear you but all I was saying is no one knows if he is for sure gone or not other than him and his family. They might want him to stay thru Senior year and work on his game while enjoying a last ride in college. He seems like the kind not trying to rush off to the nfl is how I see it. I know we’ll be good at QB in 2027 either way but I think it would be cool to have him back

    Glad they didn’t sweep it under the rug cause that’s crappy of him and not someone that should be leading a program like Michigan. So at least they set it right and didn’t look the other way like we see all the time

    The fact that our last game against the Ags was pushed aside cause of “how bad” we looked at Fl, Kentucky and Miss St shows they didn’t care about recent results and instead had their predetermined thought of who we were in their heads versus thinking we “got better” like we’re supposed to do as the season goes. Very flawed and unfortunate but can’t change it now. Just gotta do better next year

    He’s a Sophomore. Meaning next year is his 3rd yr and he can come back in 2027 if he feels like it.

    Are you sure next year is Arch’s last year? It wouldn’t surprise me if he is a 4yr guy…. He doesn’t need to run off to NFL money.

    So he goes on a mission trip for two years, puts some weight on and then comes back as a 20-21 yr old “freshman” who can then redshirt and start his path to threatening Diego Pavea’s age record for oldest to attend a heisman ceremony….. or did Chris weinke beat both of them in that one 🤣🤣

    He was a solid Longhorn that made plays when given the opportunity and did a lot of the little things right for us. Hope he does well whichever path he chooses. 🤘

    That’s insane…… given the hype for him and the production last year that’s crazy to see someone with a clear cut path to the NFL that comes out and drops that many passes with all eyes on him. Sucks for him but dang that’s terrible as a receiver.

    This right here is the main underlying reason we won’t make it. The hate for Texas is real from Arkansas and you can believe he is being adamant about not letting us in.

    I mean Campbell said it himself “this was their opportunity” and they jumped all in compared to us feeling like we didn’t need to take that exact same approach cause we had felt what winning felt like…. They hadn’t, until this opportunity gave them the chance to buy it. Legally lol

    Yeah as much as we wish it would happen they are t gonna lea e out BYU or Bama and we can all laugh at the “best teams only get into the CFP” crap with those two, Tulane and JMU getting in instead of us. Crazy.

    lol that’s funny. My bias wasn’t even due to conference logos, all I asked was what good offenses did they play? Only 1-2 of their games was against ranked teams and BYU showed it wasn’t a good offensive team plenty times this year but they won games. So kudos to them but what game for Tech was their game against “the best offense on their schedule” that would gauge us saying “oh man that’s a really good defense that stopped that really good offense” it’s like they were a 6A team playing 3-4A teams and we are saying “dang they are good”. That’s not their fault, the schedule is the schedule right.

    They are good. No one here said they weren’t good. But are they battle tested or did they go against teams with good offenses to push their defense to see “how good they are”

    And a schedule where you don’t play anyone good that’s ranked helps
