    Kinda interesting that Chambliss didn’t follow Kiffin since that’s who gave him the shot from JuCo. He must of fealt jaded by Kiffin too over the move to not wanna follow.

    @CJ Vogeli know it would be hard to do but I can’t help but hope that after the transfer portal closes and it’s all said and done that we can get a “behind the scenes” portal addition like we get the behind the scenes recruiting each cycle to hear all the wild stories you hear (even the ones that aren’t true) to shore up some laughs cause I bet it’s gonna be a hilarious couple weeks on some of these one day to two week “recruitments” 🤣

    Yeah kinda hard to look at who North Texas plays…. Then think oh yeah if he did that against them then it will for sure translate to the SEC defenses he will see regularly. But then again, you never know. Sometimes guys just need the chance to prove themselves against better comp and it works out well for them.

    I have zero worry about OL cause the staff especially Sark knows they HAVE to kill it in transfer OL acquisitions for this upcoming year or it could look really bad on them as a roster building staff trying to maximize talent in the other roles but trotting out a mid to average level OL for us. we might not hear a lot of names right now cause they can’t say much but we all know OL will be very heavily pursued once Jan 2 hits

    Speculation and social media are making college footballs “off season” transactions wild to follow. Lol it’s like seeing “fan created” or “concept” movie trailers and trying to tell what’s real now a days….. until a person enters the actual portal it’s all he said she said or I saw it on a message board talk.

    Sorry if I missed that, are you saying that you heard this happened? That he didn’t inform anyone until he was no show for the plane take off?! That’s nuts if true. I sure hope that wasn’t the story here, I thought he was a solid player for us but pulling stunts like this changes things for the public perception and future employers even

    While it will suck for sure, as I was a fan of his and he showed up for us in big games consistently the past two years….. but if it comes down to he wanted more money or he wasn’t happy hearing us “going after another RB1” then I get it. He deserves to get paid and he will flourish if he finds the right fit for his next stop. sounds like we couldn’t guarantee what he wanted to hear and he felt it was best to move on. More power to him for betting on himself and trying to get paid. Can’t be mad at that no matter who it is. thank you Tre for what you did for us and good luck out there. 🤘

    I get what you are saying and that could be the case. My reply was based off the statement “Florida wouldn’t bring in a guy Baugh didn’t care for” which would imply he had some say in the hiring

    I disagree. I would hope a head coach hired who he thinks is his best option versus hiring a guy from another school hoping it keeps one specific player on the team. This could go either way for them. Sounds like it’s gonna be an important first meeting for them

    Agreed. Appreciate all that PK did for us on and off the field. The defense was solid the past handful of years and clearly carried us in several games. Can’t take that away from him, so thanks Coach PK and good luck back on the west coast where it sounds like he wants to be. All good for both sides and hope it turns out well for all families involved long term .

    Concussions are no joke. My daughter had one in 4th grade that changed her life…. Can’t imagine what some of these guys go through. I hope he is ok long term and figured things out to take care of his young family. Sounds like a lot to deal with at a young age.
