  1. I find it interesting how many people are writing off the Ohio State game as an immediate loss. They aren't returning basically anyone and, while they have retooled, its an entirely new group playing together in the first game of the season against a team that will be competing for a National Championship. Maybe I am just being naive, but I have Texas going 11-1. A&M will go 8-4 like they do every year. Give me OU going 6-6.
  2. Unless explicitly told not to by moderators, I will post whatever I like, but appreciate your post!
  3. Finance and Political Science undergrad, and I have my MBA. Now working for one of the larger banks in my area. No doubt on investing further if you don't mind sweating a bit lol. Markets will for sure rebound
  4. Its tough out there, this is my profession. Telling most people to stick their excess cash in money market funds, treasuries, or even a savings account. I would much rather get 3%-5% with zero risk, rather than trying to chase that big number and potentially lose it all. Then again, it really matters where you are at in life. If you're 30, it isn't an issue, but if you're 60, it certainly is.
  5. I don't mind at all just to be clear, but mine also starts at the beginning of the video.
  6. Big step! Congratulations, y'all.
  7. If you have ESPN+, you should be able to just log in and watch. Thats how I watch the games, at least.
  8. Honestly I never expected this out of him. I (obviously) didn't know him personally, but I did't see him spiraling like this.
  9. What a fall from grace. Dude was a prized five star and in what...24 months he ended up getting arrested? Need to pray for this young man.
  10. Great get. Would like 1 more DT, then an experience receiver and lineman in the Spring. This was the biggest need coming into the offseason and Sark crushed it. That defensive front, as an entire grouping, is a wagon. Couple that with a really good secondary and the defense is sitting pretty going into next year. Still concerned about the offense, I can't sugarcoat it.
  11. This is getting overlooked. Well done.
  12. This is the right answer. I think they play well, I think they get in, but I don't think RT is the long-term answer. He was a feel good story, but Texas deserves one of the best coaches in the country and RT just ain't that guy.
  13. Would love this for Texas if they can swing it. Would hate this for Oregon if they can swing it.
  14. Jeff - 247 was the first message board I ever subscribed to. Loved reading your work over there and thrilled that you're with the absolute best in the business in OTF with Bobby, Gerry, and CJ. They are really building something special here.
  15. I thought Johntay Cook was going to come in and be what people wanted Evan Stewart to be. Was absolutely convinced. Had no idea why he wasn't getting playing time as a freshman in front of all the stars in the receiver room. Boy, was I wrong.
  16. Day 1, you know it.
  17. How do you have Ohio State as the #1 team in the country when they have a mailman force-feeding the ball to Jeremiah Smith? They need to hit the Spring portal hard, no?
  18. Lets get it done, Bobby!
  19. And you don't think Texas will supplement the players they lose? They aren't going to just go into the season with 80 players
  20. Almost impossible to answer this question. Sam was who he was because he had to be within the offense. Quinn was not asked to do as much because of the talent around him. Not sure Sam was accurate enough to sit in the pocket and throw darts like Quinn did.
  21. Which is why they are looking at backs in the portal. Good point.
  22. They aren't losing to Florida. Come on now.
  23. Agreed. And I think calling @ Florida a top 3 hardest game of their schedule shows where they are at as a program. Nobody should scare them. Maybe Reed progresses like crazy next year and A&M is really good. Or maybe Stockton becomes the next hottest thing at Georgia. But right now, that schedule looks very favorable for Texas.
  24. "way harder" is a wild exaggeration. @ Ohio State v. San Jose State v. UTEP v. Sam Houston @ Florida v. Oklahoma @ Kentucky @ Mississippi State v. Vanderbilt @ Georgia v. Arkansas v. A&M ....Where do you see three losses? At worst, they should be 10-2 with only 1 in-conference loss, which has them right back in the SEC Championship game next year.
