  1. Some random CFB facts from the past week or so that I compiled for our OTF group chat. Thought I would share here as well: - Notre Dame’s win over Georgia was their first NY6 bowl win in 31 YEARS. - Georgia’s loss was their first non-SEC loss in six years. - Favorites in the CFP are now 8-0 straight up and 7-1 against the spread. Texas scraping by Arizona State is the 1. - Notre Dame is the first team ever to beat an AP-ranked opponent in 6 different months in the same season - For the first time ever, no Heisman semifinalist made the CFP semis - Ohio State has advanced through the CFP by an average winning margin of 22.5 points - The ACC finished bowl season with a 2-11 record - Georgia Tech was the most watched ACC team this season, averaging 3.1 mil viewers per game - Not a single team featured in Allstate Bowl commercials won their bowl game - Not a single conference champion won a game in the CFP - The SEC has gone 20-10 against other P5 conferences this year. The next best conference is the Big 10 at 13-12.
  2. Gerry and Bobby went in depth on it today!

  4. Two. He’s now officially a RS-Jr. since their season is over.
  5. Yesterday Texas A&M WR Noah Thomas officially entered the transfer portal. While it’s still early in the process, I’m told that Thomas is definitely a name to keep an eye on. Expect Texas to host Thomas in the near future, as he’s spoken with the staff over the last few days. Two other schools have also caught his attention: Georgia and Miami. One source has indicated that Georgia and Texas are the top two, with Miami running a distant third. I would expect him to visit all three at this time. I’m also told that Georgia is “in it to win it” and really likes Thomas. This past season he caught 39 passes for 574 yards and eight touchdowns.
  6. “I have had multiple discussions seeking clarity surrounding the targeting call on Arizona State's final drive of the 4th quarter with Richard Clark. Moving forward, we need to address CFP officiating to ensure national standards are developed. These standards will be crucial to the CFP's future, and I look forward to discussing them with my fellow committee members when we meet next.”

  13. According to Pete Thamel, Longhorns wide receiver Isaiah Bond is expected to play against Arizona State on Wednesday.
  14. Tough to say at this point. These are the guys I'd really look to contribute early: Jared Spencer (LHP - Indiana State) Luke Harrison (LHP) Ruger Riojas (RHP - UTSA) Connor McCreery (RHP - South Carolina) Andre Duplantier (RHP) Like I mentioned in the video, I know they're trying to figure out whether to burn Riojas once a week as a starter or use him throughout the week. That will be key, imo. Of course you also look at guys like Ace Whitehead and Max Grubbs. Both started at times last year for Texas, but how do they rebound back from their injuries? Thomas Burns (RHP - Arizona State) started on Friday nights for the Sun Devils... but does he start early on for Texas? I'm not 100% sure on that. Grayson Saunier (RHP - Ole Miss) will likely be coming out of the bullpen. And then you have a guy like Aiden Moffitt (RHP - LSU) who has all the talent in the world, but control was an issue in the past. As far as the freshmen go, Drew Rerick is the guy I'd keep an eye on imo. So to answer your question.... I don't quite know yet.
  15. I sat down with @CJ Vogel to give y'all some insight into the baseball team, as we're only 1.5 months away from opening day. From position battles to watch, who to expect on the mound and even a little recruiting info, we discuss it all. Then @Gerry Hamilton and I talk both men and women's hoops, as the Longhorns gear up for their conference schedule. We also drop a note on Aaliyah Chavez and where things currently stand with the nation's No. 1 player.

  17. Paging @Bobby Burton
