    I do think a lot of the CBB world has gotten flustered with Texas finally getting a good roster, and they have projected a lot of the scheduling thing onto them. If Texas would not have had that good of offseason, they wouldn't even be saying anything look at Texas a&m schdule its way worse than us and they also probably spent a good amount of money on that roster.

    Ya I didn’t think it’s was that bad I think the payroll question stems from miller saying a lot of teams would have a 20 million pay roll on the field of 68 a few weeks ago. I will say the non conference schedule discourse is odd and I wonder if it wouldn’t be a thing if we didn’t have the roster we have now. It’s like people wanted miller to predict the roster he was going to have a year in advance when he was scheduling the buy in games. I honestly haven’t seen many non conference schedule way harder than us all over the country.

    I dont get the hate are some of these games set up way in advance ? This non con schedule is a bit better than the last few years so it's an improvement but guess since we have a roster that is much improved people are barely noticing.

    When a team doesnt win a natty it has to be upgraded not just fill holes look what Miller did he upgraded. Even Sark upgraded not sure why Schloss cannot do that

    Okay, homer. When our team has more holes than other teams, we cannot afford to miss as often. We have already missed on several top targets, including Angel Laya, Bino Watters, Nate Savoie, and now Paz (which were all top targets), but you are too much of a sunshine pumper to see it. You can be constructive at times, but it is pointless talking to you.

    It’s been said here that we are in the top portion with this many misses it has to be staff or someone negatively recruiting against us. Uga has beaten us this past year pretty easily with a team full of transfers

    I watched some of this but stopped it 30 mins in because the guy on the lefts take seemed pretty biased.

    Maybe cause I’m a young but Arkansas has never been thought of as a rival and let’s be real Texas owns them in most things besides basketball and lately baseball

    It's not that he doesnt want to but his injury is severe and would cost him a lot of his season regardless he isnt improving his stock. Frankly he was not good enough to think he would be drafted and think that injury just sent him "scrambling"

    If our coach can’t get 1 million from donations or a donor alone it’s pathetic and should be able to get 6 with the history and connection Texas has. If LSU can do it so can Texas

    I just think you are a homer and dont have any room to be critical of anything. I mean there has to be a reason why a&m and jay are doing better than us in the portal and at the end of the day the blame has to fall to someone at texas cause its an area that needs to improve. You are saying institutional commitment to baseball but that is not how NIL works most of the money doesnt come from rev share in the two other major sports. Texas seems very committed to baseball look what they did in the regional they added extra seating on outfield I dont think its an institution issue.

    Then what explains him missing on so many portal players ? Miller sure didn’t and it was his first year plus yes I do think A&M is more loose with their money that’s what I mean by he needs to energize donors.

    Yes but LSU spent so much on kiffin and the new coach. The spending for them is very high was my point

    I think A&M is more easily energized look what they are doing in football so yes. Just look at schloss lineup that was runner up that was in year 2 or 3 of him and that is no where near where he is in year 3 here.

    They still weren't getting him money if schloss is getting lockered by aggy and Lsu for recruits he isnt getting the money he needs so donors arent all that.

    I mean I donate so I get what you are saying but it's still on the coach to get people to open the wallets thats all im saying. LSU is literally spending so much this year in all of the major men sports including a new coach hire

    I mean yes in theory but we all know that these sporting teams hold private parties where donors get together and make donations so those are the ones he needs to fire up. Terry had the same issues with basketball and miller seems to have gained the trust of the big money donors. I mean im a one fund donor too but we all know most of the nil money doesnt come from that.

    In this case it seems to be the coach cdc got his guy and its odd that basketball was in a worst spot when schloss got here and now its in a better spot than schloss after 1 year. This is definitely on schloss cause it takes much less to get an elite baseball roster he is not doing what he needs to. him getting lockered in portal and aggy taking his coach is a bad look
