    Nice report, Jeff. Personally, I'd really like to be 3 or 4 just to keep the headlights out of their eyes. But it does my ego a real swell. One game at a time. Each game is critical to team develop as the season progresses.

    My favorite UT No. 25 is Chris Gilbert. We were in the same class at Texas. His 96 yd TD run vs TCU was a dazzling play. He was the first CFB RB to have three consecutive 1,000 yard running seasons.

    I thought 2026 was going to be the BIG year, but this 2025 season may be a real cracker jack one. I am very excited to start the season and watch this unique team.
