Retired 35 plus years FB coaching from 5A to six-man. Born in Austin with "orange blood". Saw DKR, Chris Gilbert (first back in college FB rushing for 1000 yards 3 years in a row. Freshmen didn't play), Eddie Phillips to Cotton Speyer, S. Worster, T. Koy (was our Vet), Earl, Chris S., Vince, many others in person. My claim to fame I was one of Jeff Howe's HS coaches.
