  1. I’d think Cojoe but I know absolutely nothing. I’d imagine keeping Baker at guard would be priority. Ironic because wasn’t Cojoe rising before his knee injury?
  2. Amen! And ultimately, if we feel bummed because we are fans, imagine being in Trevor’s shoes. This is his livelihood.
  3. You’re entitled to your opinion. Respectfully I disagree. Hook em
  4. You literally said he’s not quite a good kid if he quits after adversity. I’m just taking you at your word. We have no idea what he’s been promised by prior coaches, what his family is telling him, what pressures are going on at home, if he struggles mentally, etc. Things don’t happen in a vacuum. You can address character issues with your own son as you’d actually know him. You can’t diagnose character concerns with someone you don’t know is my point. We can be bummed as fans that he may leave the team, but questioning his makeup is unfair.
  5. Can always count on you for reasonable takes
  6. You would tell them they’re not quite a good kid? Yikes
  7. Let’s just hope you don’t think that if your son or daughter quits after adversity.
  8. I think you’ve identified a societal issue there. And you’re literally calling him a kid and adult within the same interaction, so clearly you’re conflicted on it. I’m 38. Everyone has a different journey and different makeup. I take issue when “fans” imply someone is either not a good kid or lacks character when they have literally zero idea who he/she really is and what ultimately drove him/her to a decision to act in a certain way.
  9. That’s rich on so many fronts. First of all you’re conflating competitiveness with character. And second, 20 is absolutely still a kid, hence “good kid.” If you think I need to “grow up” for calling out people dogging on kids that can’t even have a beer legally yet, then that’s for you to reconcile within yourself.
  10. Quitting at adversity has no bearing on whether someone is a good kid. Get this trash out of here. We have no idea what he deals with internally and he’s 20 freaking years old. Comments like this make me sick.
  11. Also… with all the anxiety over the OL, having three dudes mocked in the top 65 is very encouraging.
  12. No mascoe on there either. I think 13 draft picks is the floor.
  13. Sounds right to me Just did a pfn mock draft and it gave me 13- without mosely, January, Spence, masunas, Robertson. Simmons 1.2 Arch 1.4 Goosby 1.6 Coleman 1.9 Jelani 2.34 Biles 2.57 Baker 2.91 Siani 3.65 Raleek 3.80 Wingo 3.99 Hollywood 4.115 Maraad 5.162 Hero 6.209
  14. Love the optimism
  15. Interesting. Wonder if they even adjusted them.
  16. I hope we kick OU’s ass as well. I haven’t seen the presser but I’d imagine he didn’t mean him personally. If he did, then I still disagree, and sark is speaking out of both sides of his mouth. He openly admitted he was let go to bring in better talent.
  17. I think that comparison is apples and oranges. Coleman was the number 1 transfer and had a bidding war for him. Livingstone was let go to make way for that bidding war. I just think we lose sight that this is a 20 year old kid. People wishing him to be laid out because he posted himself in his new jersey is pathetic. And if he is truly unhappy then that’s for him to deal with. We improved our roster, the coaches moved on from him, so we should too.
  18. 100%. This is just a 20 year old kid whose ego got hurt. He’s betting on himself, and it sounds like he got paid. We can’t say “it’s a business, bro” when Texas makes a business decision, and be upset when a player also makes a business decision. Best to him (just not against Texas).
