I’d like to see KJ Lacey and Jackson Christian if everything else is largely going to remain the same.

I've landed on he is a great play designer and a bad play sequencer. His in-game adjustments leave a lot to be desired as well. I won't go as far to say 100% on him bc there's still basic stuff I see Arch miss routinely. Sark definitely shoulders more of it, IMO, bc he's the head man.

I disagree with this and Tillman re: Arch. I don't need him to be the best ever, as good as his uncles or even to win national accolades. I need him to do the simple, easy things right. He was one of the worst college football quarterbacks in the country yesterday. That's based on his play, not any expectations.

I think it's both. I lean more to Sark simply bc as the head man, the buck stops with him. That being said, I have a really hard time with what I see Arch do (or not do) on film. I tend to agree with you and how you view it.

I think Stein grew up in Kentucky and going to Kentucky games. Might be a tough pull at this point, especially how he has them rolling.

I flat out don't know @General Grant. And by all accounts, it doesn't seem like they do either. I could not tell you one way or the other what Milwee's play calling could look like. Maybe it's Sark is heavy with the script and then let Milwee call it from there which could give Sark the opportunity to focus more on situational needs? I don't know. That's why this is all so frustrating. Hell give it a shot. Everything should be on the table. Could it be worse with someone else calling it? That's where we are. In year 6.

And yet if Arch can't run the offense he's calling and we don't expect him to give up play calling during the season...if you keep doing the same thing and expecting different results...well...you know what that's the definition of.

That's the scary part. We've reached the halfway point in the season and it's gotten worse from game to game. There's not much time left to figure it out and none of these issues are new ones.

I wish I had the answers for you @Jbro52. There's got to be some type of significant shift bc what is being trotted out there is not working. Sark, IMO, is a great play designer that doesn't have many answers beyond the opening script that show continuity, easy answers and things that put his offense (and defense, for that matter) in the best position to win.

And I don't think Tillman was truly saying it NEEDS to be Flood. Just that it has to change from what it's been to this point.

I have a TON of respect for Tillman Holloway. My redshirt freshman year as a linebacker at Texas was Tillman's senior year. On the field, he was an animal and not someone that made practice all that fun for a young defensive player still trying to figure out college ball. Off the field he was a fun-loving guy that always had some silly antics in the locker room and at the same time, some thought provoking words he'd speak. The latter part of that statement continues to be true to this day. His tweet below, while long, deserves its own thread, IMO.

I definitely agree with this. Prob my favorite overall road trip to date. I had a really great time and the Longhorn contingent that made the trip represented really well throughout the weekend.
