    We haven’t had an offensive identity at all during the Sark era so if I were betting I’d say year 6 will be much of the same.

    Hutson, Stroh, Robertson aren’t going to magically get better. They are what they are and in Hutson’s case he’s been the same guy since his freshmen season. We have severe talent and mentality deficiency in our interior products, see Daniel Cruz as a shining example of the mentality deficiency. if you couldn’t push for starter reps or pass up guys this year at LG and C then that doesn’t say a lot of good things about your ability.

    It doesn’t matter. Being a NFL head coach is one of the most lucrative positions in the entire sport. There are only 32 of them and they are all premium jobs that are an upgrade over any college job.

    No matter how you perceive college football coaching in the NFL is a promotion and better job. Will he be successful, I don’t know. But being a NFL coach is considered a massive promotion.

    I feel like Burke wasn’t used properly but being a team player he did his job within our scheme. He has really good bend and length that will transfer well.

    1 meaningless game isn’t going to change 3 years worth of film. Once again pointless. His best bet is to be as healthy and prepared for combine. That will help him more than this bowl game will with regards to draft position.

    Even for later rounds it makes no sense to risk getting injured and going undrafted.

    You have to be circle of trust and Sarks offense is renowned for difficulty in picking up. He needs to simplify it for everyone involved.

    And that’s a good thing. For decades college football was built on a lie. I’m glad the bandaid is ripped off and we can treat it like the business it has always been that was taking advantage of athletes. I’m als glad that Texas is in a position to be a player with what this era is vs the decades of rampant cheating that Texas refused to be involved in due to superiority complex.

    If you want to be at Texas the standards should be to play up to what you’re being paid. If you can’t or don’t then you shouldn’t be gifted anything. They didn’t live up to it and that’s on them. And let’s not act like Deandre was some perfect teammate as well.

    Nothing. Get rid of automatic bids, seed by ranking - the auto bids is why a mess gets created.

    The best way to do it is get rid of the committee so you don’t have a guy flip flopping what he says every week. Use BCS formula and if you have to use committee then use it as a replacement for either the AP or coaches poll that was part of BCS. Take the top 16 according to that
