  2. Kim Mulkey has been front and center at Monterey High as much as rules allow.
  3. Scoring wise ... may not even be close to national records. She's 2,000 short of the all-time record, so would need a huge season. 46.1 per game is the all time scoring average leader. Three-point makes in a season and all-time after the 2024-25 season, yes. The 187 makes in 2023-24 is a single season record for girls HS basketball nationally. The current all-time 3's made record is 588

  7. Vic Schaefer and the No. 1 prospect in 2025 Aliyah Chavez The Texas Longhorns continue the heavy pursuit of the No. 1 ranked prospect in the 2025 class Aliyah Chavez (Lubbock, Texas/Monterey). Texas is one of four schools considered to have the best shot to land the scoring machine. along with LSU, Texas Tech and Oklahoma. 9. Texas definitely doesn't have unlimited $$$ in basketball. They have already put a lot into the roster for this year (Tre Johnson was a very big one). The Horns are competitive in the arena, but not the top 7-10 in that regard. RT needs to get to a second weekend IMO. Bama base is all in because Oats has proven he can get to a FF and possibly win it. But with that said, it's still all about roster building and make it work.
  10. Texas not expected to go after Powell Brazile is in play a little Texas could opt to stay put too
  11. Texas to the National Championship Series to face winner of OU and the fighting Billy Napier’s

  14. As of today, Brown is still planning to visit Tennessee, Texas and likely Miami. The latest here:
  15. Good catch. Thank you! I like the height/length at guard for sure! Much better for the original idea of building a Miami Canes FF roster from a couple of years ago - skill with length at different spots on the perimeter.
