    It had nothing to do with me … it was someone trying to take a shot at the 247 guys when the person talking has been a no-show in Austin the last two official weekends … pretty big deal they are to cover for Texas coverage sites I would say! I thought that was BS because I have seen the 247 guys in Austin the last two weekends covering the biggest events. Essentially I didn’t like that someone wanted to try and take a shot at 247 guys when you haven’t been putting in the work. It was ridiculous.

    That was just ridiculous. Even though I wasn't initially involved in that ... I just couldn't let someone try and take a shot (at the guys from 247) when he hasn't shown up in Austin the last two weekends to cover Texas huge official visit weekends. That was incredibly weak to do when you have no-showed in Austin the last two weekends, and the guys you tried to take a shot at were actually hustling on the biggest recruiting weekends of the cycle. Now, let's see who magically appears this weekend lol

    Texas and 4-star DL Myron Charles OTF believes Texas continues to have legit shot at the Port Charlotte (Fla.) High 4-star defensive tackle. Legit shot. Charles was at Miami this weekend. This one will come down to the FSU OV June 21-23, and then the decision between the Noles vs. Horns.

    I think that will be interesting with his decision. Texas could lose three EDGE this year, but two of those don't factor into his position. I believe Smith sees himself more at Texas than the others (prior to OU visit this weekend), but that doesn't mean he ends up Texas. One thing here to consider is does he see himself on a bigger stage than Texas Tech/Big 12? If so, it will be Texas or OU.

    I do think Texas has a real shot at Nick Brooks. Georgia vs. Texas Kevin Wynn, think Texas is in it. The FSU visit June 21-23 will be key IMO.

    His father had work this weekend per Smith. From what I was told … dad loves the academics at Texas … does he push a smaller university or city environment? We shall see Smith really likes Texas IMO

    OTF just spoke with Orogbo … OU OV still happening Texas is right there in this one. Sarkisian told him he was wanted and needed He spoke about Zina coming in at 235 in January and is 260 now. The S&C and nutrition program is big

    OnTexasFootball believes the Texas Tech chatter may have been premature, as of 1pm OTF believes Smith really likes the idea of Texas, but the father not making it in this weekend is not the best data point. Orogbo is scheduled to OV to OU next weekend.
