  1. Good wingspan measurement for Murphy at his height... those broad shoulders made up for little lack of arm length
  2. Agree 100%. Word coming out of the Senior Bowl was they wanted his weight down. The concern (according to one person with knowledge on this) is what will he be like with multi-millions
  3. I was there last summer ... amazing campus and area. But so expensive to be a college student too. Mick Cronin got hit with some losses in portal recruiting that impacted this season IMO
  4. Football family ... dad played at Syracuse. Very football focused. He will want to see a very early path to the field IMO.

  8. Houston area cornerback locks in Texas official visit Missouri City (Texas) Marshall High 2025 cornerback Caleb Chester told OnTexasFootball that he has locked in an official visit to Texas. Chester, 6-1 and 170 pounds, will make an official visit to Texas June 7-9. That will be the first of three June official visits for the Houston area cover corner with long arms. He's scheduled to visit Arkansas June 14-16 and Texas A&M June 22-23 in the two weekends following Texas. Chester has been on campus in Austin multiple times, including attending Texas Junior Day January 20. The Longhorns offered Chester May 16, 2023. Since that time, he has stayed in consistent communication with Texas defensive backs coach Terry Joseph.

  10. A lot more guys will announce OV dates/plans soon. Elijah Barnes will definitely OV Michael Fasusi is expected June 21-23, maybe 14-16 Kaliq Lockett will OV Zion Williams is talking about dates etc...
  11. I'm the same. Kelshaun Johnson should be in the class.
  12. A few are, obviously. But there are some very tough decisions/evals that will have to be made in the spring evaluation period.
  13. Very good Q ... we will hit on that
  14. Baker didn't get on the road until very late in January. When Sark, Choice and Banks went by, he wasn't on road yet or hadn't been released to (compliance when coaches are hired). March visits are next up for prospects.
  15. Brandon Brown should be talking/visiting other schools. He committed to Texas December 19. Bo Davis left. He won't meet Kenny Baker for the first time until late March. Would be a bad move for him to not continue on with the process right now.
  16. Would be a hell of a finish for a very inconsistent team to this point. As small as the chance, would make for a different look headed into March Madness ... Texas would be a 7/6 seed if they won out to end regular season.
