  1. Yep. Think that is correct
  2. Just a reminder on this Friday ... Saint Peter's was one of the worst college teams offensively in the country. So if that was the first game one watched Tennessee, just take that into consideration ... Saint Peter's was No. 346 out of 351 in effective FG % in the country ... https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1/current/team/148/p7
  3. Compete, yes. Enough to take out the basketball decision totally, nope.
  4. Currently, Brandon Garrison is the No. 1 target big
  5. I do think Silas Bolden may be punt returner 1 when all is said and done
  6. For sure. Brutal for Samford who had fought back to have shot to win
  7. 100% agree on Disu. He's never even truly had a full off-season of S&C work at Texas due to injuries
  8. I do think Texas will struggle on the perimeter with Tennessee's length a little ... but not in a win or lose way. SEC fans in the Sunshine State call Tennessee "UT" for sure. It's "Texas" in and around the state for the most part.
  9. Love it! And yep, he's played big in big games since high school ... when he left Mansfield Timberview High with one DI offer!
  10. Joshua Lewis junior HUDL ... http://www.hudl.com/v/2MjYK9
  11. Louisiana 2025 DL sets visit to Texas The Texas Longhorns are set for a huge visit weekend April 6 around a spring practice. That weekend will include many top targets and over 20 combined 4-star and 5-star prospects. But there will also be a few prospects on the radar yet to be offered. One of those is defensive lineman Joshua Lewis (Geismar, La./Dutchtown) out of the Pelican State. Lewis, 6-4.5 and 246 pounds, told OnTexasFootball Thursday night he will be in Austin April 6 after being invited by the Texas staff. The Dutchtown High standout is one of the fastest rising prospects in Louisiana in the 2025 cycle. He's gone from three offers prior to the 2023 season to 16 headed into the spring. Offers since the end of the 2023 season include Missouri, Houston, California, Illinois and Oregon State. Lewis has an official visit scheduled to Missouri May 31-June 2.

Notables • SEARCHING FOR SWEETS, AGAIN: The Longhorns are looking to advance to the NCAA Sweet 16 for the second straight year and the 15th time in program history. A win on Saturday would send Texas to the Sweet 16 in back-to-back years for the first time since UT went to three-straight Sweet 16's in 2002-03-04. • TEXAS-TENNESSEE CONNECTIONS: Tennessee coach Rick Barnes is the winningest coach in Texas program history (402-180) during his 17 years in Austin (1998-2015). Texas coach Rodney Terry served as an assistant to Barnes with the Longhorns for nine seasons (2002-11), when UT advanced to four Sweet 16's, three Elite Eights and one Final Four. • DEFENSE WINS: Texas held Colorado State to 44 points on 29.3-percent FG shooting, including a 6-of-24 (.250) mark from three-point range, in Thursday's win. This marked the second-fewest points allowed by the Longhorns in a NCAA Tournament game and fewest since 1947.
  14. Tennessee is No. 6 in the NCAA in field goal % defense ... https://www.ncaa.com/stats/basketball-men/d1/current/team/149 This will be the key Saturday ... Texas will be forced to make a lot of contested shots in the mid-range and from three.
  15. I'm not going that far. From a matchup stand point ... UH was the team that Texas had to play their best game. Tennessee is a good team, not great. Saint Peter's is an awful offensive team, so Tennessee could choke them out. Tennessee won't be able to choke Texas out. Texas will have to make contested shots in the mid-range and from three. Dalton Knecht is a tough individual match up for Texas on the defensive end.
  16. Texas is No. 60 at 53.7% in NCAA effective FG %. Tennessee is No. 154 at 51.5% Prior to Thursday night games
