    It will be very interesting ... from what I have heard there is one key factor Texas has in the recruitment that nobody else has the ability to pull off. And I have heard about one possible negative too, but not sure the long term accuracy of it.

    100% AGREE. Royal or TJ Ford. Royal would only leave NBA to be the HC at Texas, as of last year. He's likely a future NBA HC if he stays on the path

    Look for announcement dates to change Due to Beryl and the affects on the Houston area expected Monday, OTF has been informed that three announcements scheduled for Monday have been pushed back. Kelshaun Johnson, WR, Hitchcock The OTF 4-star will announce out of Texas A&M and Texas July 10. Time TBD Nicholas Townsend and Tanook Hines The Delaney High 4-stars are likely to announce July 11. Time TBD Townsend has Texas, Texas A&M, USC and Alabama as his finalists. Hines has USC, Notre Dame and Texas as his finalists.

    For me, once a prospect picks a school in his mind … assuming he’s a highly ranked prospect … he then better try to maximize his NIL headed into an announcement People would be crazy not to So I think guys are picking a school in their mind plenty of times … then leveraging 2-3 schools headed into an announcement That’s what happens when you bring agents into high school recruiting in the Wild West
