    I sure am glad Jak and Shay showed out tonight, they were our best players!

    Teams have figured out they can play a zone and pack it in around our bigs, forcing us to make shots from further out. Unfortunately, we have struggled when forced to shoot from outside.

    Blake, what can you tell me about the tall girl on Monterey's team, think her last name is Johnson? nm- I looked up her stats, 6'4" and seems athletic. Wonder what she'll look like next year?

    Love this team and the pitching has been salty! But I do have to admit, I miss seeing Alyssa Washington and Bella F'ing Dayton this year. They were two of my all-time favorites.

    That was a great game!! Congrats to Teagan for such a masterful, clutch pitching performance. Hopefully she's able to come back after some much-deserved rest.

    Will be interesting to see how it plays out, with Zima being listed at 6'5" and 260 is he slotted for Buck? Burke, Vasek, Jackson, and Terry all fighting for playing time... That is a stacked room!

    So many wild theories out there... has to be more to this than a straight-up basketball move. Don't know much and I care even less, but I know Mark Cuban didn't do this.

    I read other team sites through a different service, I can tell you the tosu site is predictable in that when a player leaves they instantly view them as a nobody. Doesn't matter who it is, they'll try to convince themselves that so-and-so leaving is a good thing and there's a long line of all-americans waiting to jump in the portal to get to columbus.

    JMO, I would be very surprised if Chavez ends up at Texas. I love Coach Vic, love the defensive intensity, love the physicality that defines our style... but it's not the run and gun, putting up 3s that appeals to more offensive-minded players. We struggle against teams when they play zone, and other than the JMU game I don't remember a game where we took many outside shots? Someone that knows the game better than I do may contradict me, I would love to be wrong.

    Just a casual fan's observation but it seems the players are thinking too much instead of just playing. And when they do react, the play usually ends up sloppy, sloppy in serve receive, sloppy in setting, sloppy in hitting. Our block seems to be the only part of the game where we display confidence. Most worrisome is I don't see the team getting better. Shame to waste all this talent.

    I know I'm in the minority, but when I saw this, the U2 song "still haven't found what I'm looking for" started playing in my head. I hope we stay on him!

    Wonder what this portends for the Aaliyah Chavez recruitment? I have no problem with Canady going to Lubbock, the only bad outcome would have been if she ended up at ou. Tech holds no threat to our chances for a NC next year.

    Hope you're not just playing with my emotions here Gerry, but after watching this young man's HUDL I am all in! For those that love dominating DL play, watch his film. Really hope he gets on campus and has a great visit... IMO he's a lot like Murphy only a little bigger and quicker. And he seems to play with an edge. (felt sorry for the OLinemen trying to block him)
