  1. Meyer probably would’ve won a natty by now, but he would’ve left by now due to some mystery health issues. I was one of those Texas fans that wanted him post-Herman, especially after Sark’s first two seasons, but Sark’s turnaround as a HC here and off the field has been incredible. Rooting hard for him to bring championships in the next few seasons.
  2. The 2026 team on paper could be as good and in some areas better than the 2005 team. Depends on if Arch has a big jump in his play in year two as the full time starter like Joe Burrow did from '18 to '19. But even then, I agree. Unless guys like Ant Hill and other key members of that 2023 class stick around, they will probably be good but not all time great. But you don't need to be all time great to win a natty. That 2005 team was unbelievable. Scored 50 ppg, ran for 275 yards per game. Only had 31 sacks and surprisingly only 11 interceptions, so I think both the '25 and '26 teams will have more sacks and INTs and probably eclipse those amounts in the 12 regular season games. Averaging 50 ppg even in today's CFB with ruled geard towards helping offenses is rare.
  3. Sark told him come be apart of back to back #1 classes and win some rings. Lock this guy up and grab one of Rouse, Ili, King, or Okpala and that’s a hayle of a LB haul.
  4. Love Bo and he was what Texas needed at DL coach at that time, but Kenny Baker (and possibly changing NIL allocation to interior DL) has been an upgrade in recruiting that's for sure.
  5. Lincoln Riley burned some brisket again?
  6. Dream scenario would be both teams coming to Dallas undefeated, Sark beats BV by 30+ again, but OU goes on a tear and makes the CFP at 9-3 or 10-2 and they're stuck in early 2000s Texas territory. Good enough to keep BV employed there, but not bad enough to fire him.
  7. Beautiful
  8. Doesn't relate to OU directly, but I found this article interesting. Kind of surprised they don't have a GM. Compared to OU going all out to get Jim Nagy. https://247sports.com/college/georgia/article/kirby-smart-responds-to-critics-who-think-he-needs-to-hire-general-manager-249923130/
  9. Was listed originally as an IOL on 247 but has been updated to be listed as an interior DL.
  10. Leaving no stone unturned. Love that!
  11. Seems that way but 7 months to go. Miami fans are loud and proud after Cantwell today. They’re selling him on blocking for Cooper.
  12. You know dern well Arch is going to somehow end up with the Cowboys. Bueckers went to the Wings, Flagg is probably going to the Mavs. The sport gods want DFW sports to matter. Though as a Cowboys fan, I don't want Arch going to that joke of a franchise.
  13. Trying to recreate the Legion of Boom secondary they had in Seattle it looks like
  14. Well YouTube TV, it looks like you have competition unless there's a catch and it's too good to be true
  15. That's right and it's also the same reason Texas played @ Michigan last season instead of @ Texas.
  16. Good news is ABC/ESPN gets that game in 2026, so it will be a night game in DKR guaranteed. And hopefully the start of an all time great Texas football season.
  17. Agreed. I won't believe UGA is dead unless they lose more than 3 games in a season under Kirby post 2016 and Texas beats them.
  18. Kobe also got swept by them Mavs and Dirk 10 years later 😉
  19. Smart for Texas to continue offering punters and placekickers out of high school. While going to the portal is preferred for these two positions, there’s no guarantee good ones will be in the portal every year. Don’t want to be spit outta luck if that happens.
  20. Eh the Mavs actually won something this century. That 2011 playoff run was one for the ages. Aggies had one amazing year with Johnny Football and think they're college football royalty.
  21. Trade that pick for Giannis or KD
