Can Sark take advantage of OU being in a down period and stack wins over them before they get their spit together and Sark retires/leaves for the NFL? DKR was 12-2 in his first 14 seasons as Texas HC (won 8 straight over them at one point) before losing 5 straight and tying once before he stepped down as Texas’ HC. Obviously most remember Brown’s struggles against them early in his career once Stoops was hired, but surprisingly he finished 7-9. I thought his record was much worse than that. So far Sark is 2-2. The 2 wins are over the worst two OU teams since pre-Stoops. I would take Stoops’ ‘99, ‘05, ‘09, and ‘14 teams over BV’s ‘22 and ‘24 teams. Not saying Sark can’t do it, but I just want to see him beat a good OU team for me to feel better about his chances of finishing his Texas HC career with a winning record over them. Need Sark to win a Red River game like ‘08 when both teams are really good in the same season. Stoops wins in the early ‘00s were more impressive because Texas was a top 10-15 team every year during that losing streak.
