  1. If you're that hungry come to the 40 young man. Enjoy some VY Steakhouse
  2. They see 5-star and assume they all pan out lol. He’s too small to be a true TE imo
  3. If this were 2020 oh yes
  4. I bet Blue would be one of them, but the others might stay. In a 17 game CFB season, all of those guys would have a chance to get touches. It’s a long season now.
  5. Like Gerry said no excuse for being inexperienced at any position on the field if you’re a blueblood with the transfer portal being the way it is. That being said, HS recruiting is the name of the game. That’s your future, but the transfer portal takes care of the present.
  6. David Blay from LA Tech and Lee Hunter from UCF are names to keep your eyes on.
  7. This season, of course. After this season, who knows? You don't have to be 2018 Clemson, 2021 Georgia, or 2023 Michigan on the IDL (assuming Arch lives up to the hype and this offense is scoring 40+ ppg), but you also don't want to be 2017-2019 Oklahoma there either.
  8. Gotta rebuild the DT room in both HS recruiting and the portal for '25 and '26 or this championship window will be short lived, and Sark will bolt to the NFL. Hopefully the 2025 DT haul was the wake-up call Sark, Baker, CDC, and the boosters needed to prioritize NIL $$$ allocation to that position more. I would hate to see the Arch years wasted on underwhelming DT play. Good/great DT play can win you championships.
  9. Sark is Sark...
  10. Yeah he gives off Lincoln Riley energy
  11. Yeah no way I’m going to get that riled up over a 21 year old young man that has no idea I exist. Love him, despise him, indifferent towards him, Ewers has done a great job of representing the University of Texas at Austin.
  12. Wow, didn't have this on my bingo card...
  13. It was a combination of both bad seasons in addition to losing to Michigan that did John Cooper in. Would I love to see Texas beat OU, A&M, and Arky every year for the rest of my life? Yes. Is it the end of the world if they lose to them sometimes? No. Because there's 9 other regular season games you have to win to accomplish bigger goals. Beating your rivals is fun, but have to remember the big picture. I thank God every day DeLoss Dodds didn't pull the plug on Mack Brown when he was getting his butt kicked in the early to mid 2000s by Bob Stoops. Because the 2010-2022 down period would've occurred much earlier this century and Texas would still be looking for a national title since 1970.
  14. Idk $37 milli is a lot
  15. Depends on his buyout. How much is the university willing to pay him to go away if it gets that bad?
  16. Micah Hudson said he's no longer transferring, and Texas would not have been interested anyway, but Texas needs at least 3 DTs, 1 S, 1 CB, 1 speedy WR, 1 more WR if Golden goes pro, a veteran power RB, maybe an extra OT if Texas loses all 5 OL after this season. And of course a placekicker and punter. Any other portial additions besides that are icing on the cake.
  17. Hate that for Beck. Hope Georgia loses but hate to see injuries no matter what.
  18. Sark is always saving xyz plays for xyz opponents…
  19. This man thought he was cooking, but he ended up burning the house down in the process.
  20. Two years later, it could come back full circle if Texas steals Tyler Atkinson from UGA.
  21. I can't speak for Gerry, but I think it depends on how Texas' DL and Justus Terry look in the 2025 season. A good showing from JT and that unit next season will prove that what Kenny Baker is doing is not a fluke and should work in Texas' favor. Not to mention having someone like Anthony Hill to speak highly of Baker and his position coach, Johnny Nansen.
  22. Georgia fans coping hard right now calling him the next Bear Alexander
  23. First 5-star DT in the Sark era. First #1 recruiting class for the Longhorns since 2002. I used to pray for times like these! Let’s go!
