  1. He has to because it's a graduate assistant position but don't know if he will end up on Sark's staff or go somewhere else
  2. Just in time to take the attention off of Justin Tucker smh
  3. With all due respect to Ewers, when you have a QB that can consistently hit the deep ball, speed doesn't matter as much. Would you like to find a speedster in the portal this spring? Of course. But at some point, gotta develop the WRs you pick out of HS. I'm not as worried as long as they get that 1 guy in the portal in a few months.
  4. Will Ryan Niblett remain at RB or will he move back to WR?
  5. If Bell pans out and/or Manning starts for 3 years and lives up to the hype, that won't look too bad. Moore was not truly interested in Texas, and Fasusi wanted a quicker path to a starting spot. Besides the Russell situation, not much you can do about that. You win some and lose some on the trail. Even Saban didn't get everyone he wanted.
  6. Got an Ohio State DT out of the portal, but not the assistant DE coach LaAllan Clark.
  7. Now that Kanu has committed to Texas, I wonder about the status of LaAllan Clark. I'm wondering if he will join Texas' coaching staff or if they're going in a different direction?
  8. Sarkisian for 3 portal DTs. Bang! Bang! - Mike Breen
  9. Maybe Aaliyah Chavez commits to Texas soon?
  10. The best loss in Red River history for the Texas Longhorns football program. Since that game, Texas has a record of 20-4 and OU has a record of 10-10. Sark was really playing chess with Venables. Got himself paid and got the rival HC paid too. Now the rival HC's buyout is so big it's hard to move on from BV, even if they defecate the bed in 2025.
  11. Honestly, I'd love for Murray to remain OU's RB coach. He was an excellent RB at OU (that hurdle in Dallas back in '07 still gives me nightmares) and the NFL, but it hasn't translated to his coaching career. Lotta OU fans calling for his head. I hope Dallas goes a totally different direction in their RB coach search tbh
  12. I wouldn’t worry about that. Sark will let him know not to hang around anything the Jones family touches.
  13. When looking back at the 2024 CFB season, people will not remember tOSU athletics being in a $37m defecit. They're gonna remember their football team hoisting one of these 🏆.
  14. Despite Sark not attending due to the flu, Texas received Fong predictions to land Felix Ojo and Jamarion Carlton. Not so bad after all.
  15. Texas will get their guys. They play the long game in recruiting. Just had the #1 recruiting class. In the NIL era, winning out on any top tier prospect is a crapshoot. Texas will have another top 3 class and finally have the talent and depth of peak Bama, Georgia, and Ohio State going into what could be a special 2026 season. Won’t worry about this until December.
  16. Come to Austin, win a natty, and be a hero? Sign me up for it!
  17. Or could be Downs be sold on being the next Mukuba?
  18. Yep, Ohio State fans gotta be confused now. Hope they pay up to keep Day from going to the NFL and this scenario happening, or let him walk and cite his 4 game losing streak in "The Game" as the reason why, despite winning almost 90% of his games as a HC? Caleb Downs and Jeremiah Smith, come to the 40.
  19. Yeah Dominoes pizza has gotten sketchy over the last few years. Hope y’all get well soon.
  20. Agreed. CDC sold me even more when he pulled Schloss from A&M. Shows he's really is willing to go all in to make every sport on campus championship caliber. He makes the right hire for men's basketball, and he might wake a sleeping giant. Glad you mentioned Florida because prior to this century, they had basically no history in men's basketball save a few seasons in the 90s.
  21. Washington gets a new ownership group and they suddenly look like a competent franchise again. I’m a Cowboys fan through and through, but rooting for them to upset the Eagles.
  22. This is why leadership at the top is so important. Very thankful to have Sark, CDC, the soon to be departed Hartzell, Eltife, and the BMDs all aligned and on board with building the best CFB program in the country.
