    Florida refusing to pay Napier’s buyout and FSU just extending Norvell after last season was great timing for Texas. Recruiting the Sunshine State should be fun for years to come. Who knows if Miami will look this good once Ward goes pro next spring. Cristobal is a great recruiter tho. Texas just needs to keep winning on the field themselves.

    If Florida and FSU continue down this path on the field, recruiting the state of Florida should be fun for Texas for years to come as long as they continue their winning ways. Still gotta compete with Alabama, Georgia, Miami, etc. tho

    Not relevant to the game this October, but until Texas strings together a few wins in a row over OU, I will always be nervous about that game every year. Their record over Texas this century is very telling. I want the Texas players and coaching staff to take that game as seriously as OU does every year and eventually have the psychological edge over OU for years to come. A few more 49-0 esque beatdowns by Sark over OU would make up for how Stoops used to handle Brown's teams. I saw Georgia flip their series against Florida under Smart and Harbaugh flip their series against Ohio State. Hopefully, Sark can flip the series against OU and be the first Texas football HC to leave Texas with a winning record over OU in God knows how long. So frustrating to lose to OU as much as they do, even when they're the better team.

    He'll play and be the starter for the 2025 and 2026 seasons imo. I don't think he stays past the 2026 season and will enter the 2027 NFL draft as potentially the #1 pick off the board.
