    I was an Air Force brat, born in Texas so really didn't grow up in Texas. My grandfather in Texas worked for the USDA in research and was a big aggy fan. Decided I wanted to go to engineering school in Texas and my choices were Texas or aggy. I didn't know anything about the rivalry. In high school there was this guy named Earl Campbell (you may have heard of him), and he was the reason I decided to go to Texas. Earl saved me from the cult. Thank you, Earl!
