  1. There has been a lot of talk about Sark moving from pure pocket passers to more mobile QBs like Arch, KJ, and Dia. Is Ty mobile?
  2. This discussion is about Princewill. His older brother is Princely. Both are different from Prince Dorbah who transferred out of Texas.
  3. Gerry, Any chance Daniel Cruz could come back?
  4. I've heard that it MIGHT also be about pecking order. At best Parker was going to be #4 in the room behind Coleman(hopefully), Wingo, and Mosely. Then what fi they bring in a sslot like Scudero, then he is 5 and we all knwo Sark really likes to trust about 4 WR at a time.
  5. For me, it wasn't that long ago we'd have been begging for a 9-3 season in the Sorry Big 12. We've more than held our own in the best league. It's not the result we wanted, but this team played it's heart out. And with the OL we had and no burner at WR, I think this team came pretty close to maximizing. True, we could have beaten OSU and should have beaten Florida, but still, they played their hearts off
  6. Look, I hate it, but for some of these kids, NIL changes the lives of their whole family. I have changed jobs and left places I enjoyed to go somewhere that paid me more, because that meant my wife could leave a job that she hated and find a better job that maybe paid less, or to allow my kids to go to a better school. I'm just saying I think UNV is a dumpster fire, but I can't be mad a kid for making a business decision, even if it's not the one I would make.
  7. I would love to bring Chip Kelly to help with Offense, though the O did look good against Arkansas. And Bring Wilcox on D.
  8. Doesn't Wilcox coach the secondary and has a pretty good result working with PK? Our Secondary needs help
  9. My concern is that too much credit is being given to unproven players. At RB, I love Baxter, but outside of pass pro has he really shown that he can be a #1 RB? I haven't seen it consistently yet. And what exactly has James Simon proven? I like our stable of RBs, but outside Wisner, I have yet to see anyone opposing DCs worry about. And we still don't have a home run threat. None of our RBs are pure RBs who can hit a crease and take it to the house against an SEC defense. I know Wingo has started to come on, and Mosely looks like a complete WR, but if you have a chance to grab a proven burner in the portal, I think you have to take it. I know they are 5 stars, but outside McClutcheon, what have the freshmen shown you? And the OL. Stroh, Kibble, Neto, and Brooks all scare me, being in the lineup for what might be Arch's last year. I can't believe we are even talking about this. Until all of them were removed, Arch was getting killed. And we are supposed to trust that they are gonna get better. They have not earned that at all in my opinion. I think you need to bring in at least one IOL that is a proven, seasoned veteran. If we had signed Pregnon, the state of our OL would have been greatly improved this year. I'm saying you bring in 4, but 1 definitely, and maybe 2. On D, I think you must bring in an S. And maybe a CB too. I think we are promising young players the chance to be the guy and play early, and that is hurting us. I don't think we need to build completely through the portal, but I think we need to get help where we can.
  10. Yeah, I agree with you. I think I had this unrealistic hope he was gonna come out and wow everybody and show he should ahve been a 2nd-3rd round pick. Truth is, he may need a little bit of time to develop.
  11. I watched the whole game (Easy to do as a Bears fan) really wanted to see how Quinn performed in comparison to Zach Wilson. Dolphins 3rd stringers are not good (except Ollie Gordon) so it's hard to tell what he might have looked like with a better supporting cast. And It hard to tell if the play calling was terrible or if his decision making was. But that was hard to watch. He did not look like he belonged. I was foolishly hoping he was gonna put people on notice that he is better than 7th round, but that was not a good first look. He isn't escaping the pocket well, and he is relying on trying to get a pass interference call like he did at Texas, rather than looking for the open player. I'm rooting for the guy, but he isn't making it easy on himself. There are flashes, but the game seem a bit fast at the moment
  12. Athletes are going to need to sign NDA in this transfer portal era. You transfer to a new school and share are calls/plays/signal, I am taking all your NIL money. The other side of being treated like an employee
  13. Across the services, I am seeing a lot of people state that Texas leads for both Ojo and Turntine (and Roseborough). Is it likely (won't say possible) Texas could have an OL class with Turntine, Ojo, Roseborough, Robertson, Wright? Or does Ojo/Turtine signing result in the other one going elsewhere? That seems like a better class that 2022. And that leave out Krempin and Aaron Thomas who could have massive upside like a Goosby
  14. It really makes no sense for Fasusi to have gone to OU.
