  1. Yeah, I agree with you. I think I had this unrealistic hope he was gonna come out and wow everybody and show he should ahve been a 2nd-3rd round pick. Truth is, he may need a little bit of time to develop.
  2. I watched the whole game (Easy to do as a Bears fan) really wanted to see how Quinn performed in comparison to Zach Wilson. Dolphins 3rd stringers are not good (except Ollie Gordon) so it's hard to tell what he might have looked like with a better supporting cast. And It hard to tell if the play calling was terrible or if his decision making was. But that was hard to watch. He did not look like he belonged. I was foolishly hoping he was gonna put people on notice that he is better than 7th round, but that was not a good first look. He isn't escaping the pocket well, and he is relying on trying to get a pass interference call like he did at Texas, rather than looking for the open player. I'm rooting for the guy, but he isn't making it easy on himself. There are flashes, but the game seem a bit fast at the moment
  3. Athletes are going to need to sign NDA in this transfer portal era. You transfer to a new school and share are calls/plays/signal, I am taking all your NIL money. The other side of being treated like an employee
  4. Across the services, I am seeing a lot of people state that Texas leads for both Ojo and Turntine (and Roseborough). Is it likely (won't say possible) Texas could have an OL class with Turntine, Ojo, Roseborough, Robertson, Wright? Or does Ojo/Turtine signing result in the other one going elsewhere? That seems like a better class that 2022. And that leave out Krempin and Aaron Thomas who could have massive upside like a Goosby
  5. It really makes no sense for Fasusi to have gone to OU.
  6. Anyone who drafts Jalen Milroe before Quinn Ewers likely deserves the pain coming to him. You want to put Quinn behind Sanders? Sure. Behind Ward? Yup. Behind Dart? Not the move I'd make but I can respect it. But that is it. Milroe? I like the guy. But no, not in front of Quinn.
  7. Georgia Homer or not Georgia beat us twice last year to win the sec title, have averaged a recruiting ranking of 2 over the last four years. Georgia has the crown until we take it. Im surprised he has Florida so low. With all the DJ Lagway buzz and NIL money spent I figured they might be a couple places higher and I think Missouri is fools gold
  8. Gideon was hired as the DC at Georgia Tech this morning
  9. CJ I agree but I think there is a way to handle this professionally that doesn’t cost you money.
  10. Russell, I'm not worried about. Mainly because Having a 5* sit 2-3 years is tough and then you have Dia Bell behind him. I believe there is a good chance KJ Lacey is never a full-time starter for the horns unless he really wants to, has patience, and can beat out Trey and Dia for the job 2-3 years from now. That seems like a tough sell
  11. Sorry, but I can't think what would have been with QB Russell, WR Moore, OT Fasusi
  12. So glad he is going pro and not going to another school like Oregon.
  13. Wow. Thank Bobby, that was amazing
  14. Sark said in the press conference (again) TE is the second most important position behind QB. Who is the TE in the 25 and 26 class who is inline to be the next Gunnar Helm?
  15. I saw him early in the game and thought, "Man it would great to get him in the portal"
  16. I really think Sark is waiting for CFP players to exit after their season ends. If given the option, I would rather spend NIL on Golden to return than take a flyer on Singleton and/or Branch
  17. I see people whose family members end up in jobs in the corporate world all the time. Especially if one of them is incredibly talented or powerful, this is about leverage and Zach has it. And I don't think it's just about the money. He has a chance to bring his brother with him to his next job and school. Get his brother a chance and have someone in his corner and with him. This is not about a school, this is a job, and their career. And someone is willing to make this deal. It may not be Texas and that is fine. I prefer Texas not making the kinda deal. But from their standpoint, if Texas said, "Yeah we will take both of you" why wouldn't take that deal? Great education if you want it, a chance at a national title, exposure to play with Arch, and you are paid market value with the opportunity to help provide for your family. You have to ask Texas if they are interested. I get it and am not mad about it, but I hope Texas passes.
  18. Rumor is that Arnold is headed to Miss St. with Lebby
  19. Malik has entered the portal after leading Duke to a 9-3 season. I wonder where he ends up. I hope not OU or A&M.
  20. I think we still need an experience reliable big back to go with Baxter and Gibson.
  21. A&M just flipped the Cocoa 2026 QB who is re-classifying to 2025. @Gerry Hamilton Any idea how close Javion is with his QB? Moves the needle?
  22. I appreciate that Sark also is thinking about the big picture. If he offered Keelon, we would lost KJ for sure. And the likelihood that either one sits for 2 years behind Arch is slim. And with Trey in the program, you are not even guaranteed to be 2nd QB up. I trust in Sark's decision-making. Besides the last time we had a QB verbally committed (Jalen Milroe) and started offering other QBs like Nussmeier, we ended up with none.
  23. I wonder if an SMU team that goes 8-0 in conference but slips up in the ACC championship game get in over a 6-2 Big 10 or SEC team that couldn’t even make the championship game. The committee said the would try not to penalize teams that lost for the first time in the CCG. Texas need to win out AND win the CCG to keep controlling its on destiny
  24. my guess is CB Littleton
