  1. So you’re saying we have a chance!
  2. Damn, those numbers aren’t quite right but the general idea still stands.
  3. The first seven times we had 4 yards or less to go on 2nd, 3rd, or 4th down we threw the ball. The only run in the game in that situation was a second and one in the final drive of regulation. Sark had zero confidence in the running game from the get go.
  4. Wow! That’s impressive. That is the dedication and drive that you want to see from a young man. Can’t wait to see him play.
  5. Glad to get the win, but it was amazing how often we had a turnover when we needed a play to take the lead in that game. Fortunately NC State had the same issue. Trey is a talent for sure, but he needs to force things less. Too often he either turned the ball over or took a really difficult shot because he decided it was his time, instead of using his teammates to create better opportunities.
  6. The guy has single-handedly, with a massive help from the OL, changed the offensive identity of this team. The transformation from a horizontal screen team into a highly effective between the tackles rushing attack is astounding. Sark deserves credit for being flexible enough to recognize that 1) teams had figured out the horizontal offensive and 2) morph from throwing to open up the run to running to open up the pass. Trey is by far the most valuable player on this team and it’s not even close. Hopefully Sark can reduce his workload next week and give Gibson and to a lesser extent Blue a tryout in the new identity offense in a game that would be nice to win but isn’t must win. Hook ‘em
  7. The Texas D has obviously been outstanding all season long and frankly materially better than the vaunted A&M D. Despite not having a plethora of high end skill position talent the A&M O has been able to score well in SEC play. How do y’all see the Texas D matching up versus the A&M offense?
  8. Didn’t watch A&M yesterday but know they gave up 31 in regulation and 21 in the first quarter. What did Auburn do to move the ball? How much of a fit for the Texas offense was what Auburn did? I love the idea of playing bully ball and running down A&M’s throat but the fumble issues give me pause.
  9. He’s getting to see the field but he isn’t executing his job when he’s on it. Sark owes it to the team to tell him to either play the position the way it’s supposed to be played or you have to sit. No different than any other position on this team.
  10. I am hoping Sark can get J Gib significant work tomorrow. Having trust in a back that’s more of a load will be helpful down the road when protecting leads and facing lighter fronts like A&M. This OL hasn’t been great at straight ahead run blocking but I think they can be more than adequate with a bigger back versus smaller or worn down fronts.

  11. I’m sure the UF DTs will be evaluating their options after the season is over. Now whether any of them are a take or not is a completely different question.
  12. They were so busy preparing for our game that they forgot to scout or develop a game plan for Ole Miss.
  13. I’m of a similar vein. I like the idea of requiring an injured player to have to sit out the rest of the drive. Would significantly reduce fake injuries and give medical teams more time to evaluate injuries without the pressure of holding back a player from recentering the game.
  14. Don’t feed the animals. They will latch onto anything that they can.
  15. Right, wrong, or otherwise, why post this? BTW, the kid has been tearing it up. Why not celebrate that in and of itself?
  16. And it didn’t work because it was the right call. Surprised that they didn’t try burning couches. Next time.
  17. 3 - 0 the good guys. Defense forces a TO deep in Vandy territory, the offense loses 3 yards going three and out, but Bert comes through in the clutch to save the season just before the bye week.
  18. Totally agree. Quinn was elite in the intermediate to deep middle. He and Worthy were deadly with deep crossing patterns. Not sure where that’s gone, but it has completely vanished.
  19. Put on a show on Saturday night and watch the high end talent come out of the woodwork
  20. Play physical football. Come in with a chip on your shoulder, beat them up, and then use your playmakers to take advantage when they have to sell out to stop you. Get ahead and then continue to execute and attack. Full commitment for 60 minutes.
  21. Anyone that can effectively run the ball and play keep away has the potential to cause issues if penalties and turnovers go their way. Vandy managed to have the ball for over 42 minutes versus Bama despite averaging 3.1ypc. That’s the recipe that everyone except maybe UGa is going to try and replicate against us.
  22. Wow, that’s interesting. A ton is “guaranteed” but not if he retires. If he retires and the Dolphins play hard ball there could be one ugly lawsuit. That would be bad for the Dolphins and the NFL. A negotiated settlement would be best for all involved.
  23. Depends, how much of that is guaranteed?
  24. I don’t think that had anything to do with Arch vs Ewers. That had everything to do with we had the game in the bag and everyone in the stadium knew it.
  25. Playing at Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State in consecutive seasons has to be one of the more challenging non-conference stretches in college football. The schedule wasn’t originally intended to work out in this order, but I applaud CDC and company for scheduling teams of this caliber as part of our non-conference schedule. I can’t wait for the Big House experience tomorrow. The game will be a high profile test of talent, coaching, and style of play. In a contest of contrasting styles, whom will be able to break the other team will ultimately decide the day.
