    3 - 0 the good guys. Defense forces a TO deep in Vandy territory, the offense loses 3 yards going three and out, but Bert comes through in the clutch to save the season just before the bye week.

    Totally agree. Quinn was elite in the intermediate to deep middle. He and Worthy were deadly with deep crossing patterns. Not sure where that’s gone, but it has completely vanished.

    Play physical football. Come in with a chip on your shoulder, beat them up, and then use your playmakers to take advantage when they have to sell out to stop you. Get ahead and then continue to execute and attack. Full commitment for 60 minutes.

    Anyone that can effectively run the ball and play keep away has the potential to cause issues if penalties and turnovers go their way. Vandy managed to have the ball for over 42 minutes versus Bama despite averaging 3.1ypc. That’s the recipe that everyone except maybe UGa is going to try and replicate against us.

    Wow, that’s interesting. A ton is “guaranteed” but not if he retires. If he retires and the Dolphins play hard ball there could be one ugly lawsuit. That would be bad for the Dolphins and the NFL. A negotiated settlement would be best for all involved.

    I don’t think that had anything to do with Arch vs Ewers. That had everything to do with we had the game in the bag and everyone in the stadium knew it.

    Playing at Alabama, Michigan, and Ohio State in consecutive seasons has to be one of the more challenging non-conference stretches in college football. The schedule wasn’t originally intended to work out in this order, but I applaud CDC and company for scheduling teams of this caliber as part of our non-conference schedule. I can’t wait for the Big House experience tomorrow. The game will be a high profile test of talent, coaching, and style of play. In a contest of contrasting styles, whom will be able to break the other team will ultimately decide the day.

    Wonder how many offensive touches he had. I seem to remember seeing that his touch to TD conversion ratio last year was insane.

    You’re right, my bad. It’s hard to keep the fat A&M running backs separated in my mind. It was Ja’Mar Toombs, not Lane.

    If those NIL checks start bouncing do the players have to wait until the postseason NIL window opens to portal? Seems like the “U” could be on the verge of a major player revolt. Wonder if there are any plus DTs potentially looking for a reliable pay check.

    Apparently Michigan will be having a “Maize Out” for our game. I didn’t even know that was a thing. “White Out” at Penn State sure, mustard yellow not so much. Looking forward to seeing a ton of burnt orange mixed in with the locals! Hook ‘em

    Have to admit, when I saw the title I was thinking Sark was going to need to start scouring the IM fields for RBs so that we’d be able to have a full practice tomorrow.

    Just like all the other times, it will be vacated and then restored at some random date “just because.” Vacating all those wins would have a big impact on the all-time wins list.

    I would be excited except for whom the statement came from. My next door neighbor’s 3 year old daughter knows infinitely more about football than that guy.

    I’m confirmed for 3, 4, and 7. Depending on how things go, I could see myself dancing next to Reveille’s grave after a glorious Longhorn victory there too.
