We were told all offseason “this team’s pitching is its strength.” LOL, the closer blew a lead off of three free bases in the top of the ninth.

Effing Burns. Bottom of the order and you completely implode with a 4 run lead.

We will not be a good team in conference if we have trouble throwing strikes down the stretch. Our bullpen has done this all year so far but we have gotten away with it bc the teams we were playing didn’t have power up and down the order. Shouldn’t have pulled Lefew and need to let Ruger work deeper in the game. Burns can’t throw strikes and shouldn’t be our go to setup guy or closer in conference.

You would have thought Schloss would have pulled Burns after the first hit batter, or the walk lol.
