While it is a joke, there were a million different means to mock it without showing a man hitting a woman. For those saying and liking, the we’re soft comment, when was it okay to joke about hitting women? I’m Gen X and we’d knock a dude out if he touched a woman( I recognize the irony).It’s lazy and disingenuous to say this falls under soft or woke. No need to be rude towards Holly. She’s not really done anything wrong and for all we know her reaction was probably less towards Sark and more towards ESPN production screwing up. She was unable to do her job. And she’s said nothing negative about Sark, Arch, or Texas that I’ve seen.

I can’t believe all of this started because some frumpy sideline reporter didn’t get to ask Sark a question that was written by ChatGPT.

While it’s all been sensationalized and overblown, I’d bet money his family had him on the phone with Holly as soon as they saw the clip. Dumb mistake by a kid, who doesn’t need to be crucified for it. But I do think as a dad I’d encourage my son to apologize to Holly directly for any disrespect (because it’s the right thing to do but also she’s a professional and those connections matter), make it known that you did, and move on. A funny aspect of all this is that he’s said he’s not on social media generally so he definitely found out this blew up via texts from friends/family.

Sark called a heck of a game but Arch was either too late or missed seeing a lot of open receivers over the middle of the field. Go watch the "film guy" - he seen and explained it all. Thought Arch had a terrible first half myself --- Just an opinion.

Yeah I had posted Holly tossing sark into the sky but it got deleted lol. No outrage over that or an AI video of Kyle Whittingham knocking out Brent Venables after the game.

I didn't realize there was so much outrage over this. I had to Google it to see it. Granted, I don't spend a lot of time on X but damn, it's wild. I mean I get it, but it is way out of hand getting so offended over a fake video. I bet there wouldn't be any outrage if someone made a fake video of her chasing down Sark and kicking him in the nuts. It's a weird flex but I guess. I'm just glad he put it to bed. Hopefully people so offended by it can let it go.
