  1. Past hour
  2. Does Texas expect Johnson and Punch to be here two years?
  3. Looks like his best football is a few years out. VERY raw on the 1 video I’ve seen. Not looking to finish his man. Hope he reaches his potential
  4. Today
  5. I've heard Gilmer is going to get him the ball some as a senior. Now, how much will it be? I have no idea, but several people have told me he will get handoffs and passes thrown his way. Can't wait to see normal HS kids try to tackle his 6-foot-6, 340 pound frame. OTF will be on the road to see him two weeks from Thursday when Gilmer opens the season with an away game at Longview Pine Tree on Aug. 27
  6. We’re officially 26 days away from Texas football, so today we’re looking back at some of the best Longhorns to wear No. 26. Johnny “Lam” Jones headlines this group. The Olympic gold medalist was a two-time All-American, two-time All-SWC selection and Texas’ 1978 team MVP before becoming the No. 2 overall pick in the 1980 NFL Draft. D.J. Monroe brought some serious speed to the number during his time on the Forty Acres. Monroe finished with 2,620 all-purpose yards and still owns the Texas record with three career kickoff-return touchdowns. And Marcus Griffin rounds out the group. A member of the 2005 National Championship team, Griffin finished his Texas career with 229 tackles, four interceptions and three forced fumbles, earning ESPN.com All-America honors as a senior in 2007. 26 days to go.
  7. The Texas DL commit plans to be in Austin for Texas-Ohio State on Sept. 12. This is the only visit he has planned. I asked if he's looking at visiting any other programs this fall and he simply replied with a "hook 'em"
  8. NBADraft.net ... 2028 mock has 3 Texas players in first round ... https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2028 2 in second round in 2027 ... https://www.nbadraft.net/nba-mock-drafts/?year-mock=2027 And that doesn't include Austin Goosby, who will be a first rounder either in 2027 or 2028 (likely two years as of today)
  9. I bet that SEC DC is the Florida dc that was Kentucky dc last year and the new dc at Florida this year? I don’t think it’s A&M or Oklahoma because there rivals an Arkansas has a new dc so reading the tea leaves I believe it’s the florida DC that made that comment about Arch? Also Mississippi State have a new dc too so not them either.
  10. He's got ALL of the physical tools. It'll be up to him to maximize. He's a special, special athlete IMO.
  11. He will play OT in college IMO. He's got tackle feet, flexibility, agility and body quickness. I do think his athleticism has to carry over to all important reactive quickness against high-end EDGE athletes, but he has the athletic tools for it. As far as a senior year at Gilmer, it definitely won't advance his development ... but his junior tape he didn't match up with an SEC or Power 4 player playing OT, so already imited in that regard.
  12. Good chum in the water for fans of many teams lol https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49528890/college-football-2026-intel-top-qbs-arch-manning-julian-sayin-dante-moore-trinidad-chambliss-more
  13. I see Camara is wearing #1 at Gilmer for media day. I’ve also seen him catching passes during practice. Are they really going to play him at TE this season? If so that’s doesn’t make me feel great about his development track. @Gerry Hamilton
  14. I had some puerile condescension this morning, but, after my coffee, I went to the rest room, and now all is fine in the world🤣
  15. DONE, Blake. That was fun. And very hard LOL.
  16. I believe the one and only time Bijan fumbled was in the OT game against tech where they kicked a field goal to win it.
  17. He explained why in the last paragraph if you cared enough to read it all. Stop being so self-righteous.
