I may have started it, but everybody here is what makes this place great IMO. I mean that, not only for CJ, Gerry, Jeff, Blake, etc., but also the folks who post who are both knowledgeable and civil.

Hopefully he can stay out of the criminal justice system. He should be very humbled to have a third chance.

Former Top Recruit Johntay Cook Commits to ACC School in Transfer Portal - Cook is heading to Syracuse to play for Fran Brown in 2025. (link to Sports Illustrated story) Bit of a surprise. Despite how things ended here I hope he gets his spit together, has a good year and perhaps hits the NFL draft next year. (easier to say that when he's not going to one of our rivals 🙂 )

Mitch Johnson has been named the new HC

At first glance I am also critical of the hire. However, looking around the NBA, I think there are only two really good coaches, Kerr and Spoelstra. All the others seem to make bone headed decisions on rotations, on defenses, or on handling their spoiled rich rosters. So I will withhold judgment, hope he fills out his coaching staff [which was very short handed] with really good assistants, and gets the job done. If he does not, Steve Kerr's contract expires at the end of next season. That might provide a chance to hire the best.
