  1. Past hour
  2. This is my pick as well.
  3. It was yesterday Hi. Yesterday Hi isn’t on the recruiting commitment date list per CJ Vogal last night.
  4. No it's not Lawrence because he's going to be committing today
  5. Call one of them Ham and the other one Lam. That’s worked before.
  6. Hey @Gerry Hamilton, can you tell us whether the hi is from someone with a recruitment date set or not? You and Bobby did that the other day!
  7. I completely agree with you. He most likely will not be able to maintain that level of production against better competition. And we would prefer to find hitters who can hit for both power and average. I agree. My point is that if someone has a .489 OBP with only singles and walks they will definitely start and be batting lead off. The only Longhorn who has had a better OBP since 2013 was Ivan Melendez in his monster year, and that is just as far back as I can look. Someone who gets on base almost half the time is a perfect table setter for your power hitters. And you don’t stash him in the nine hole where you won’t see him until the second or third inning. You want him at the plate (and on base) as much as possible.
  8. https://x.com/i/status/2070146104746717240 Ben wells put out the texas Flag
  9. Can you give us his initials and what high school he plays for? But don’t give us his name please, we wouldn’t want to ruin his moment 😂
  10. Today
  11. Agreed. McDavid’s so close but man that Oilers management hasn’t done him much favors. Such and incredible player and to see him and Leon win one together would be awesome.
  12. Sure. But SEC arms are a little different than the Big West. 38 of 41 hits in 2026 were singles. I will say having more walks than strikeouts is a fantastic trait. Would be fine in the 9-hole to lead into the top of the order for Pack, Armstrong, Solitaria, Rodriguez. Though I suspect there’s another OF addition and we see him essentially as the 4th OF option.
  13. Just needs to develop from a technique standpoint
  14. If he is able to maintain that level of production, he will be starting
  15. Not really. They are over paying.. I like our strategy....
  16. Lane Kiffin and the LSU are pushing hard to flip 5-star Texas Tech commits Anthony Sweeney and Jalen Brewster
  17. Gerry are you concerned at all with the tape for Rhoa? T Hills was not impressed with him at all, and generally T Hills really likes the prospects.
  18. True swing player/prospect ... likely inside player to start at P4 level
  19. Over time, 2 yr will create more issues than positives. Meritocracy is what makes football great. A ton of kids won’t have the eq to handle “guaranteed” money. It’s easy from the couch to say this but I’d prefer the kid that believes in himself to earn next year’s nil. Really, if you’re that dude, you lower your ceiling by agreeing to the 2nd year. Ball out and your market price goes up. But, the agent gets a 2 year commission not 1 and then will double dip when they get out of the 2nd year. Messy, I think. Doesn’t help short term but Texas is strategic not trendy.
  20. Dan Lanning probably wants Joe Z though🤣
  21. Camara and Rhoa would be a great additions to the OL class. Do you project Rhoa to be more of a G at the next level or do you think he's capable of both?
  22. Agreed. Replacing Pendergast / Duplantier with a much better OBP and not losing any speed / defensive capabilities. Plus, 3+ seasons potentially on the roster (good for culture).
  23. Well we knew with Kiffin there, they would be.
