  3. Can you give us his initials and what high school he plays for? But don’t give us his name please, we wouldn’t want to ruin his moment 😂
  4. Agreed. McDavid’s so close but man that Oilers management hasn’t done him much favors. Such and incredible player and to see him and Leon win one together would be awesome.
  5. Sure. But SEC arms are a little different than the Big West. 38 of 41 hits in 2026 were singles. I will say having more walks than strikeouts is a fantastic trait. Would be fine in the 9-hole to lead into the top of the order for Pack, Armstrong, Solitaria, Rodriguez. Though I suspect there’s another OF addition and we see him essentially as the 4th OF option.
  6. Just needs to develop from a technique standpoint
  7. Today
  8. If he is able to maintain that level of production, he will be starting
  9. Not really. They are over paying.. I like our strategy....
  10. Lane Kiffin and the LSU are pushing hard to flip 5-star Texas Tech commits Anthony Sweeney and Jalen Brewster
  11. Gerry are you concerned at all with the tape for Rhoa? T Hills was not impressed with him at all, and generally T Hills really likes the prospects.
  12. True swing player/prospect ... likely inside player to start at P4 level
  13. Over time, 2 yr will create more issues than positives. Meritocracy is what makes football great. A ton of kids won’t have the eq to handle “guaranteed” money. It’s easy from the couch to say this but I’d prefer the kid that believes in himself to earn next year’s nil. Really, if you’re that dude, you lower your ceiling by agreeing to the 2nd year. Ball out and your market price goes up. But, the agent gets a 2 year commission not 1 and then will double dip when they get out of the 2nd year. Messy, I think. Doesn’t help short term but Texas is strategic not trendy.
  14. Dan Lanning probably wants Joe Z though🤣
  15. Camara and Rhoa would be a great additions to the OL class. Do you project Rhoa to be more of a G at the next level or do you think he's capable of both?
  16. Agreed. Replacing Pendergast / Duplantier with a much better OBP and not losing any speed / defensive capabilities. Plus, 3+ seasons potentially on the roster (good for culture).
  17. Well we knew with Kiffin there, they would be.
  18. LSU is starting to be a pain in the ass
  19. I agree, but clowns can SOMETIMES be funny and when he "hits" on that it is actually pretty good. Its when he misses or does something stupid that the show suffers
  20. Like Blake said, they do not have to declare. Many make the decision to go pro or not after the draft. The really good ones who are predicted to high, may indicate in advance they are going but still have to wait and see how high they go in the draft. College players and high schoolers who want to go but are not sure where they will be drafted just sit back and wait for the draft and then make a decision based on how high they are drafted and how much money they will get. Some high schoolers who will probably be drafted sometimes tell pro scouts that they intend to go to college even if drafted and that can effect where they are drafted, probably slipping a bit in the draft. With some NIL money available for college ball there is more of an enticement to play in college for some of the people. Of course, there are some really good players who still choose to go to college even if they are drafted relatively high because they and their families want the college experience, an education, and development.
  21. The should now with the five for five ruling.
  22. Hearing about more two year NIL offers this year. Is Texas doing this yet?
  23. Any back story as to why he’s no longer on espn?
