  1. Past hour
  2. D’Onta Foreman Doak Walker Award winner, enough said!
  3. If Easton stays consistent with his communication with the staff and remains committed up until December, it is just hard to imagine him flipping at the last second. I know anything is possible these days.
  4. Derrek Cooper definitely in the conversation too! Knowing there is two-way ability for Bishop, he gets the nod for me. Hopeful for Atkinson to make an impact this fall.
  5. DJ Jacobs would be an epic pull by Texas. Beat Ohio State.
  6. In the spring I would have said Tyler Atkinson but seems like he isn’t as day 1 ready as Bishop or as we might’ve expected. Derrick Cooper is also an interesting one, but Bishop for this year is for sure the first choice.
  7. That BS that didn’t occur until 2024. Go check old rosters BJ Allen 2022-2023, Antwan Davis LB 2017.
  8. Edwin Simmons was special before the injury, Would have won the 83 National Championship if he had been in the Cotton Bowl against Georgia
  9. Can Gerry greet Easton with a mayo corndog on 9/12 to seal the deal?
  10. Had a thought of which freshman had the most excitement entering each fall camp in the Sarkisian era. There have been some fantastic freshmen talents for the Longhorns over the years and wanted to start the conversation here. This was the best list I could compile from each season: 2021 – Xavier Worthy 2022 – Kelvin Banks 2023 – Arch Manning OR Anthony Hill Jr. 2024 – Colin Simmons 2025 – Justus Terry –– Who is the 2026 season's most anticipated freshman entering fall camp? I would make the case it is Jermaine Bishop Jr.
  11. Not dumb. The 7 jersey has been established as the proven DB #
  12. Disagree And I know quite a few who are both….
  13. Eh, it doesn’t mean much for either team. Dodgers run this sport until proven otherwise
  14. -- Texas WR commit Easton Royal tells OTF he'll be in Austin for Texas-Ohio State. You can expect the Sept. 12 home game to be a massive recruiting weekend where UT will welcome current commits, 2027 recruits of note and plenty of underclassmen. Think 2024 Georgia in terms of expected visitors turnout as we get closer. As for Royal's recruitment, nothing has changed on our read of the situation in the last fews weeks. Sure, there have been industry forecasts projecting a flip to LSU. There's optimism in Baton Rouge. But Texas isn't going to just sit back and let it happen. Sources close to the Longhorns aren't expecting Royal to make any sort of announcement as to whether he's staying committed or flipping, at least anytime soon. He's expected to take visits in the fall. Everyone with insight to this recruitment believes it goes all the way to December regardless of anything happening now. And that's including if he were to come out and say he's sticking with Texas. So buckle up for the long haul with this one. -- I talked to one source close to the program on Monday morning who relayed that they believe five-star EDGE and Ohio State commit DJ Jacobs will visit Austin this fall at least in an unofficial capacity. He has an official visit in pocket if he decides to use it. Texas is still very actively recruiting him, especially in the wake of missing on Marcus Fakatou. He's one 2027 recruit we will continue to monitor closely.
  15. That’s BS, BJ Allen wore 7 in 2022 and 2023.
  16. You will have to speak up. We're haveing too much fun to hear that weak sauce.
  17. Any team that has actually won championships cannot be compared to aggy in anyway. 7 straight appearances in the ALCS, four world series appearances and two titles in the past 9 years scream a lot of things, but aggy isn't one of them.
  18. Today
  19. everyone is saying the astros need a left hands outfield bat and i think that is bs. we need amy outfielder that can hit and a starting pitcher
  20. I agree, but what else is there to do?
  21. Texas up to No. 4 in ESPN Way-too-early top 25 rankings https://www.espn.com/mens-college-basketball/story/_/id/49491209/mens-ncaa-basketball-2026-27-way-too-early-top-25-rankings-biggest-nonconference-games
  22. Rangers are pretty cold but they don’t play a team above .500 until late August. I’m happy for my Astros but it’s going to be a tight race, with M’s as well for the next 60 days.
  23. If someone has won in court against an organization, and the organization subsequently threatens someone that can provide a remedy, a judge is not likely to tell that someone, "Sorry, can't do anything about that." That judge would want that decision enforced.
