  2. When I was 8 years old, my dad put on the national championship game… turns out it was Texas vs bama, it was the first game I remember watching and it was something about that burnt orange cause since that day I’ve been bleeding burnt orange. I haven’t missed a game since then and won’t til I die.(whole family is Miami and FSU fans… thanks dad for turning on that game 🤣)
  3. Mom graduated from Ut and i followed in 91. Grew up watching Earl and the tear away jerseys a kid. Live in Utah but frequent Texas. Watched Arch against Miss St last year in Austin. 🤘
  4. Didn’t realize Creighton was ranked so high. Glad we won. Hook’em!! Let’s win another big game tomorrow in Columbus. Let’s go!!
  5. My parents took me to a Texas/Rice when was an infant. When Rice scored I tossed my bottle 74 years ago.
  6. Heath completed the upset in University Park 52-49 in a barnburner of a game. Great game by both teams.
  7. Texas takes 3rd set 26-24 wins match 3-0. Creighton is ranked #12 Texas #5.
  8. Picture of Nagy game planning with Venables.
  9. So losses to Auburn Texas and Bama ought to cook his goose or should I say, burn his vegetables?
  10. LORD TAKE THE WHEEL 😂😂😂😂
  11. I was a Texas fan just before the National Title season in 2005. My cousin was watching a game of theirs in 2004 and I remember seeing Vince Young playing and was enamored. Fell in love with Texas Longhorns after that and have been a fan ever since.
  12. Today
  13. JA playing well is more unfortunate news for ou lol.
  14. Texas takes 2nd set 25-19
  15. I remember my first toy football uniform and helmet were Longhorns. I had to have been 6 or 7 at the time. I was so hooked on football I used to steal the pawns out of my dads chess set to use as pylons for my field aka the hallway w carpet. First time I can really recall a game was Roll Left. Been a fan ever since, even during the dark days. Going to camp before my senior year (summer of 2004) was one of the greatest experiences of my life. I didn't even care if they recruited me or not, I was just excited to actually be there and run drills and 7 on 7 first in DKR then the bubble. Seeing my dad speechless when he got to meet Mack afterwards was the cherry on top.
  16. Texas takes 1st set 25-21
  17. Texas is playing Creighton in Wisconsin in the Texas season opener.
  18. Can’t accuse him of not being serious about talent acquisition though.
  19. Gale Sayers cutting without losing an ounce of speed.
  20. Great live stream. Awesome to hear from Coach Erwin.
  21. It might be their papa roach call, the last resort.
  22. Since about the early 60s. My dad was not a huge college football fan but he loved Tommy Nobis. I barely remember Nobis but remember a lot from the news. Been a UT fan ever since.
  23. Parents both went to UT. My dad’s family were all Ags, but also lots of Texas grads in the family too. My first real UT football memory was Ricky’s record-setting game against A&M. I was 11. I was hooked after that. I was a huge Major fan and always secretly rooted for him over Simms. I went to college out of state but became a rabid fan during the 2004 season as a college freshman. I started following recruiting in 2005 on OB. Followed to 247 after Gerry and Bobby headed that way. I went to UT for grad school, which was one of the best decisions I ever made. Loved living in Austin, going to games, living the 40 Acres life. I haven’t lived in Texas for over a decade, but following Texas football brings me connection to home. Hook em!
  24. Bet your pap had stories. All fans are welcome. My dad is as big a fan as any and out two kids through Texas.
  25. Earl Campbell. honestly, Aggie jokes. lol. Didn’t want to be THAT. then went to UT, played some lacrosse. eventually managed 2 degrees. Ricky Williams. Vince Young Colt McCoy Daughter and son in law went and graduated. Bleedin’ burnt orange. Hook em 🤘
  26. Born and raised in Western Pennsylvania. Now live in Eastern Pennsylvania. Growing up, my mom would work on weekends so my grandparents would babysit me. My pap played high school football in the 1930s and won a state championship. He loved football. We’d watch Gameday and watch Penn State and other games. One day a team with orange jerseys appeared on the TV. My eyes were fixated immediately on the screen. The rest is history. I turned 32 on August 27. I may not be a Texas Ex but the university and the Horns mean a lot to me.
  27. Dad and step mom went to Texas. I remember going to my dad’s on the weekend and he was busy working still so he’d turn Texas on and I would watch Major Applewhite do his thing. Then lived in Austin since 8th grade. I remember going to the co-op in 05 after the Rose Bowl win in high school and going crazy. i foolishly decided to get out of Austin for college instead of UT but I guess it worked out since I met my wife at school! Haha
