He’s a micromanager and former QB. He wants his QBs to basically just be him. It’s not “here is what I see now trust my instincts and go play football” it is “here is what I see now what would Sark want me to do here?”.

That's what I said. Whoever made the decision to leak this to Pete Thamel is a fool. It's like dropping a nuclear bomb for Arch hysteria in the media. They could have just kept it quiet, said everyone is being evaluated on film and in practice and then made their decision before the game at the report deadline. Arch clearly has his confidence as a player damaged. He didn't need an entire week of extra scrutiny. We're gonna hear "we want KJ" chants in DKR if they trot Arch out there and he continues to play like we've seen all season.

Has Sark ever developed a quarterback for the next level? He attracts the top high school quarterbacks but they never seem to take the next step. Is the issue a matter of player evaluation or player development at the college level. Is the Texas issue player evaluation or player development. I can think of many players in the past who didn’t develop. Intrinsic character or big fish small pond leveling.

If you measure by wins Arch still has way more than any other QB out there right now and big ones against top 10 teams.

I saw it late last night good stuff. Still think this is more on Sark and his coaching. Arch was making these reads and throws when he came here. Why then has he regressed to the point where he looks like a high schooler playing out there?

He is using the NCAA as a deliberate platform to maximize his draft stock.

One thing I’ve been feeling with arch recently is he needs to see the guy open. In other words, there isn’t much anticipation. And he relies on his rocket of an arm to fit the ball in. Then the problems come because by the time he sees it, so does the db, and he has to either throw a tough ball to catch to avoid an int, or we get all the turn-downs we’ve been seeing, and every problem comes downhill from there. Thoughts? Is that sort of thing fixable? If so, who is that on primarily?

8. I thought we were going to see second half 2025 Arch from the jump, I thought the run game would be better, and I certainly thought Texas would be better than 64th in the nation in scoring.

Getting way ahead of myself but does 9-3 get us in the playoffs ahead of a 10-2 Notre Dame? I still think if we get in we would have as good of a chance as anybody I haven’t seen a great team this year

I understand that sark is splitting reps between KJ and arch, is that doing an injustice to KJ? Arch has had 6 games and every practice to be the starter, if sark is considering putting KJ in shouldnt he be getting the majority of reps?
