Let me rain on your parade. Per OFEI, UTEP is the worst offense in the country. Our overall opponents to date rank 122 out of 136. We don’t know what we have.

Napheesa Collier ripped the WNBA Commish!

Look at the price of the new franchises. Someone (Owners) are making a ton. The new TV contracts will bring in more money too. It's at an all time high in popularity. Cameron Brink, Lexi Hull, Aliyah Biston, Paige Beckers, Sonya Citroen are all very popular. Of course CC is too. - Today

Anything can happen, but I don’t think this game is going to be the struggle some assume. I don’t think Florida will do much of anything against our defense.
-
At least we're not in the big 12, our monsters are real, and have to worry about other monsters too.
-
Nah come on man, they stopped the mighty Long Island....er, I don't what they're called?

Whoever said this was a safe space for people who just want to enjoy the journey, or trust the process, or go 1-0?! No, we must manifest every corner case disaster out into the open before it can turn into reality!

Napheesa Collier ripped the WNBA Commish!
Neil Leininger replied to Califashorn75's topic in On Texas Football Forum
The WNBA would fail without being bailed out each year by the NBA, which owns 42% of the league. All the growth is due to one lady and she gets crapped on by the rest of the league regularly. -
I saw who posted this thread and I’m like, “Yeah, I’m clicking on this.” You always make this place fun. I agree. Florida hasn’t stopped anybody. Texas should win going away.

You just did exactly what he was talking about lol.

Cody Campbell is the big money guy behind Texas Tech or at least one of the two big ones. Pretty sure this is his son?

I'm guessing there is an inside joke here I'm not getting.

She is the VP of the players union and came in 2nd on the MVP vote. Her voice is powerful. The W suffers from really inconsistent officiating, not valuing their superstars, yet the last two years have brought unprecedented growth, money, revenue from sold out stadiums, and league expansion. Likely we will have a lockout next year.

Sarks success here wasn’t because of luck so I’d be willing to bet he figures the offensive woes out sooner than later.

Hang on! I AM Dr. Steven Shin. I'm a proctologist. I did perform on Mr. Mateer, but not on his hand!!

it doesn't matter if arch is in his head again. if he's consistent with the easy passes, we're good--that would have maybe beaten OSU as well. problem is that we've only seen it once this year. last year he knew Quinn was QB1. this year it's up to him. teams will make him beat them going forward especially in the talent neutral games. we'll see if he can keep it together.

Florida has injury problems on the DL and at corner. Given that the Gators don't have the depth Texas has, it doesn't look good for them. No guarantee, but Texas should win the game.

wut hope he play

Is Bijan a top 10 player in the league?
Ace_Rothstein replied to Quinncent McManning, Jr.'s topic in On Texas Football Forum
Yes. Can they stop letting Tyler Allgier (solid player in his own right) rack up tds on drives where Bijan does all the work to get them inside the 10. I understand wanting to keep Bijan fresh, but it’s annoying how he doesn’t get the King Henry, Jonathan Taylor and Josh Jacobs layups around the goal line despite him clearly being a superb goal line runner. If healthy, his usage should warrant 2000+ scrimmage yards and 20+ tds every year for the next 5ish seasons. -
4-star LB Braylon Hodge schedules four official visits
Rocky P replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
LBs next year as of right now would be Lefau/Smith/Barnes/Cunningham - maybe move Spence back to LB? We have Atkinson/Okpala coming in. Thats a really good crop of LBs, though a lot of inexperience. hopefully we learn from this year oline and make sure we get some valuable experience to go with all this talent. Any LBs you are keen on? -
Yeah, we’ve got a defense that can hang with anyone, but if the offense can’t move the chains, that defense is going to wear down. The real issue? The offensive line. You can’t hide a shaky OL forever—if protection collapses or the run game stalls, all those skill guys (including Arch) get wasted. That’s where Sark has to step up. Confidence in pressers is fine, but game plans have to protect the weak spots. Quick passes, tempo, RPOs, extra blockers—whatever it takes to buy time until the line develops. The flip side: OLs do come together over time. If Sark schemes smart early, this offense will find its rhythm as the season goes on. The talent at QB, RB, and WR is real—it just needs the foundation to hold up. Bottom line: skepticism is fair right now, but patience is the play. If Sark balances short-term fixes with long-term development, we’ll be fine.
