  1. Past hour
  2. #1 ranked recruiting classes the last 2 years. Sullivan is definitely missed.
  3. Bobby closed his “Sunday – a glimpse“ thread with this very subject. So critical. How painful it was to witness, in person, Texas extend Ohio State's drive at Columbus last year that led to OSU’s first touchdown after a third and long. How evident, also, that Texas stressed this in practice last month. Can’t count on above comparison from yesterday to be what gets us over the hump next Saturday, but let’s please take care of our side of the equation anyhow.
  4. More like Texas dodged a couple of bullets. Sprague graded out with a 59.2 on 51 snaps Guarnera was worse. Texas got better players in Siani and Seymore.
  5. Typical 1st game overreactions due to an OL that had played 0 combined snaps together in this configuration against live bullets. Ohio State had 15 attempts for 47 yards, with a long of 11 in their 1st half against Ball State, and their OL had much more playing time together than ours.
  6. This is not completely accurate. The other players on the team were highly rated recruits and are very talented - the big difference is development and system. Sullivan apparently was the cog in the machine because they just aren’t losing close games, they are getting destroyed in sets by double digits. That’s not supposed to happen to elite teams when it’s rally scoring.
  7. agreed but he has had time rn we have two great stars in torrey and cari and not much around them to help win a natty like he did with logan and skinner
  8. I saw one on one lineman on lineman getting no push. Blocking 3-4 people each would be 5x3=15, or 5x4=20, I didn’t see them load the box to that extent, ever. If you get a good push and combo block and release to linebackers against inferior opponents you should not get stopped behind or on lineman getting of scrimmage .
  9. Sikorski got beat some yesterday
  10. Let cooper rest/recover and use Simon
  11. Someone, somehow, someway needs to show Tony the Tycoon Hills on Coffee and Football Sept 2 pep talk to team before Ohio State game

  12. Yes, transfer OL Sikorski played C in spring ball at Texas. I don't have Connor at guard. I have 6-6 339 Andre Cojoe at G. Cojoe heavily featured at right guard alongside right tackle early in his high school career. He was widely recruited by major recruiting services as an interior offensive guard prospect. He eventually transitioned to left tackle for his senior season.
  13. Hopefully Cooper’s injury isn’t too serious and Goosby and Seymore are closer to 100% for this game than they were for the game yesterday. All hands on deck to hopefully get this massive win over the Buckeyes.
  14. During the Longhorns' spring practice session, Sikorski picked up a larger workload at center to showcase that flexibility, particularly after a knee injury sidelined teammate Jackson Christian. Heading into the season, reporters and depth chart projections from platforms like OnTexasFootball tracked him as a key depth piece capable of backing up both guard spots and Connor Robertson at center.
  15. Today
  16. Thanks Hank. Looks like we’ll be about as healthy as anyone could hope for the OSU game.
  17. Losing Eric Sullivan to the National Team hurt a lot.
  18. Aggies always brag about ‘tradition.’ Didn’t realize voyeurism was one of the ones they keep after 50. A 61‑year‑old Aggie filming upskirts… that’s not a crime, that’s a recruiting violation.
  19. If this team makes it to the regional semifinals or better, I will be shocked. Jerritt Elliott won back-to-back national championships and got complacent. Mike White won back-to-back national championships and potentially upgraded both his coaching staff and the roster to go win another one.
  20. Makes one wonder if Andrew Sprague and Jake Guarnera have second thoughts now.
  21. Texas DB Xavier Filsaime didn't dress out for the Longhorns' opener against Texas State on Saturday. He was with the team in warmups (wearing sweats) and on the sideline throughout the afternoon. OTF has checked in with multiple sources who have relayed that Filsaime is not expected to be out for an extended period of time. One source noted it's a minor leg injury but the hope is he's back this week for Ohio State. Another source simply told OTF "he's fine." Filsaime was listed as second team nickel on the initial depth chart for the season.
  22. It’ll continue to rise IMO.
  23. Going to be a long painful season.
  24. Has Sikorski ever played center? If not, that's a big jump in responsibility. Not sure I like Conor at guard in your scenario either. Tough to get leverage on bowling ball DL when you're 6-6 unless you're extremely good at getting low leverage in a body that long.
