Likely correct. Something was concerning enough to do further testing. Hopefully it’s an mcl sprain or a meniscus.

I just spoke to an orthopedic surgeon that I work with and he said if it was an ACL, MCl tear that he wouldn’t be able to stand and walk. He said it could be a slight sprain, or some kinda of patella or hamstring injury

For sure. Him getting a MRI isn’t a sign it’s serious. It would be malpractice not get get a MRI.

That's not entirely true. With a player like Goosby and the future he has ahead of him, a trainer can certainly manipulate the knee and check for resistance or instability. However, the smart move is to get an MRI and see exactly what is or isn't damaged before making any assumptions.

For sure. Encouraging but doesn’t mean too much. There’s been UFC fighters that go on to win a fight after tearing an acl.
