  1. Past hour
  2. We’re 74 days away from Texas football, and today’s countdown has a deep group. Doug English headlines the No. 74s with a College Football Hall of Fame resume, while Dave Studdard, Gene Chilton and Adam Ulatoski all brought big-time production up front for Texas. Current No. 74 is Trevor Goosby, who has a chance to make his own run at this list.
  3. OTF has said no to this question previously.
  4. A question I haven’t seen tasked yet: Would landing LWC have any impact on Noah Roberts?
  5. The guy continues to be confused as this is not the Kobe Bryant-is-God message board he thinks it is
  6. Do we have a head hunter on this team? Just a guy who may not even be a starter but is a certified hit stick Who would you say it is? is that even a thing anymore with targeting being such a concern?
  7. I was going to say the same thing. They complement each other’s playing style. They would be a scary combo!
  8. Thanks, Gerry. This is like a movie! HOOKEM!

  10. Gotta love the thunder and lightning possibilities with Cooper and LWC together. Definitely fits Sark’s MO, so I could see them going all-in to make it happen.
  11. Tyler Alexander Update A little update on OTF 4-star DL Tyler Alexander (Wellington, Fla./Palm Beach Central). 1. Texas very much wants the 6-4.5, 315-pounder in the class. Multiple Texas staff members spoke with Alexander and circle Monday. 2. OTF still believes Texas leads by a decent margin, but we are in the NIL world so precede with caution. 3. Alexander is expected to make a decision around July 1st. OTF update percentage: 70% Also on DL recruiting ... Texas continues to lead large on Jason Johnson. An announcement is June 28. Texas is not expected to be the pick for Mitchell Turner (Louisville, Miss./High) at this time. Closer to home is expected to win out at end of day. Ole Miss or Alabama.
  12. The percentage keeps rising. I ain't mad about it.
  13. Landen Williams-Callis Update Couple of things to know from the Texas side on the pursuit of Richmond (Texas) Randle record-setting RB Landen Williams-Callis. 1. Texas is going to be very competitive in the NIL part of the equation. 2. A person very close to the recruitment of LW-C likes the idea of the Houston area RB being the next big time RB to wear the Texas Longhorns uniform. As another source told OTF Monday morning, Texas "absolutely" has a chance. Tuesday morning percentage: 45%
  14. Wonder how tt let this guy out of their neighborhood...
  15. Good defensive and special teams moves too!! Shocking that there are more players and staff on the sidelines than spectators in the stands!
  16. OTF onsite?? 🤘🏽🤘🏾🤘🏿

  19. Kyron Brown Announcement Thread Amarillo (Texas) Palo Duro WR Kyron Brown is scheduled to announce his decision today at 1:30pm CT at the Palo Duro auditorium. Texas is considered the favorite over Northwestern and Kansas State.
  20. He likes to go to the stadium at midnight, grab his crotch, and mutter mindless cheers????
  21. 1) Depth - I don't think that's much of an issue on this recruitment. Cooper will be there, the other two probably won't. Also him and Cooper have two totally different running styles. They would complement each other well. 2) Offensive Line - If I were Elko, I'd be playing tape of last year's Longhorn offensive line play. I'd be playing tape of the year before too. I'd also display a list of all the HS recruits since 2022 and ask him to name a single one that has developed into a stud. Goosby is the only HS recruit he could name but Goosby won't be there when he arrives. I would then ask to point out how many blue chip offensive linemen have been taken in recent recruiting cycles and compare it to A&M. Hell, their offensive line class this year beats our 2023, 2024, 2025 and 2026 class COMBINED. I would then point out that the architect of that recruiting and development is still employed at the University of Texas and no consultants have been hired to help him out of this mess.
