  1. Past hour
  2. Bobby asked posters to take the survey. He didn’t say post your answers here. Defeats the whole purpose.
  3. To put things in perspective, he could have easily prioritized the portal and getting replacement players for the ones leaving; but he chose to focus on the human and being there for a player. Admittedly, I've been refreshing trying to see what info there is on incoming transfers, but this makes sense why there hasn't been much news. While I want Texas to field the best possible teams and always win it all, Vic's actions show that there are things more important than sports. Also, prayers for Grace Prenter's family, it's very difficult to lose a loved one, especially a parent.
  4. Earl Campbell for me on the goal line with Ricky a close second. Honorable mention and confident to give on 1 yard line anytime Cedric Benson ( he always just fell forward) and Butch Hadnot.
  5. Same for me except I took Tommy Nobis instead of Ricky (I am an old guy) ... Ricky was my 4th and goal guy though 🤘 Wouldn't argue with anyone who had him top 4 behind Earl and Vince. Not sure why Street doesn't get more love ... 20-0 as a starter, beating Arky in the 15-14 classic and winning the Natty in 1969.
  6. I have a request for a CJ or OTF deep dive into multi-year NIL budgeting and what a realistic recruiting class budget is mapped against prospects. For example, we hear sometimes that the two top WR (Royal and I forgot the other ones name) would be out of our budget. Well, what is our budget? Could we land Camara, Royal, Meredith given our budget constraints IF they all wanted to sign with us? i’d really like someone to do a deep dive on this and maybe compare our NIL and recruiting strategy against someone like USC who signed a p+ high level recruits last year, but had mediocre classes the two years before that. sorry for typos on my phone. hookem! 🤘🤘🤘
  7. Today
  8. James Street, Earl Campbell, Ricky Williams, Vince Young. and done
  9. Good for Rori! Hope she balls out!
  10. Definitely the steel of the draft. Good fit with her new teammates. Will be a fun watch.
  11. Two of rookie teammates are from UCLA and one from ND
  12. Was hoping the Suns would draft Rori. The Suns are moving to Houston in a couple years. 6o
  13. Don't know many coaches that would do that especially for one that didn't play much this season on his team. One thing you can't question is that Vic cares about these girls no matter how tough he is.
  14. Washington Mystics just got the steal of the draft.
  15. WTF? Earl is an auto-inclusion. Cleanest four is Earl, Ricky, Nobis, Vince. I could be talked into switching out Nobis for Layne. The other three, I don't know how you argue against them.
  16. How does Rori Harmon not get picked in the first 2 rounds of the WNBA draft? This is a bunch of 💩
  17. The most mad I’ve been after a game and it’s not even close. A good reminder that football is just a game and should be treated as such. Not worth the level of anger I went through. On a funny note… I watched 4 & 13 through a window, outside the stadium. I had a flight to catch at ATL and no extra time to spare. Once it went into OT I gradually made it around the inside of the stadium, watching each play. By the time I got to the exit closest to my car I was out of time and the game was still frustratingly in doubt. Eventually made the decision to leave, but got a lucky break that I was able to see 4 & 13 on the big screen through a window into the stadium. Went absolutely nuts when Ewers and Golden made the play. But was still mad as hell afterwards.
  18. The Mt Rushmore has three absolute locks that should be indisputable. Bobby Layne Tommy Nobis Vince Young are undeniable and should be on the list for any Longhorn fan or serious CFB onlooker. #4 is a tough call between Earl and Ricky, but I’d edge it to Earl ever so slightly.
  19. I want on them a winning team, not a clown show. Dallas has been and will to be joke as the Jones family is involved in football operations.
  20. I don't get it, just more reps for the defense? Meanwhile the QB is only reading half the field?
  21. 6-5 205# 4.37 40 Sales would form a dynamic duo with 10.2 100M Royal. Believe that would surpass Coleman/Wingo and rival Mitchell/Worthy. Believe we've got the right QBs for a prolific passing attack, 39 yds shy of AL HS career passing yards KJ Lacey and Elite 11 winner Dia Bell. Hopefully the top WR reaching out to Texas wasn't urged on by his agent for more NIL leverage against his Midwest offers.
  22. Jerry Jones takes care of his players.
  23. He's good...but there are many of these young'uns fast fast fast. Dillon Mitchell is one of them and by 2026 Dillon will be 18 himself and run some great times...he already is...9.87 wind-aided, 9.96 wind aided (2.8), and non wind aided 10.10 100 meter times. His only 200 meter time was against the wind, 21.06. So, a lot will happen between now and then. But Gout Gout is for realz, for sure.
