That's funny because I could've sworn PK's D carried the team the last couple of years. Otherwise we would've had a few more losses with some porous offense at times. If those are the guys they're recruiting than it works counter to what PK likes to do and that is run zone coverage. So either Sark did no research when hiring PK or he's forcing him to run a D scheme that he doesn't want to. I'd say a lot of the blame is placed on Akina, I mean two weeks installing a scheme they ran against Georgia that did absolutely nothing but confuse the secondary even more lol. So now I guess we're back on the "it's all PK's fault and he needs to be fired" train, but anyone else under performs and it's silly to talk about it. I don't disagree that it's been bad this year, but there seems to be a lot of disconnect between what Sark wants, what PK runs and then what Nansen and Akina input. Too many cooks in the kitchen.

Kiffin only caring for himself….still feel like he’d want to compete for that ring? No? Isn’t easy to win in the sec. Playoff appearances are no gimme (ex. Us this year) -
I am waiting for VY's son.

It looks to me Ole Miss would rather he leave sooner rather than later. -

Kiffin only cares about himself. Leaving teams in the lurch is what he does. Bolting before the playoffs could seriously undermine Ole Miss playoff hopes. Similar to the way Florida St was left out after the Jordan Travis injury. -

I think the entire point of Kiffin making an announcement immediately after the Egg Bowl is orchestrated to produce an amicable win-win for Ole Miss, LSU, and Kiffin. Ole Miss win, finishes their season, goes 11-1, and awaits their Playoff invitation. Ole Miss then plays their playoff game with an interim coach. Kiffin leaves for LSU, and has four days to keep the LSU recruiting class in tact prior to NSD on Dec 3rd. He also gets to put “led Ole Miss to first ever playoff” on his resume / ego. Win-win for all parties. -
You do realize John Mills is a Washington legacy, not a Texas legacy, right?

I thought he was a 3 star +-++

Good point for sure. The coaches know better who the options are for sure.

Point remains the same but I don't believe James followed Tommy to TCU. He's doing well starting at Center for Miami and ironically was the bigger contributor at Bama even though Tommy was the can't miss guy that everyone wanted of the two.

Not to argumentative, but we also decreased seating with our South End Zone changes.........actually a super move because those seats were literally out of the stadium. The trend now is to cannibalize the cheap seats and replace with lux boxes. I think Northwestern has the right idea. Especially if you are a niche market. Personally, I think we should tear out the top 20 rows of the West upper deck. Add a "short sun canopy" that reduces afternoon sun and increases crowd noise. Just another good idea that CDC hasn't asked me about!

Which makes regular season and final season rankings more important. The first two rounds should give big home field advantage to the teams that had best regular season imo.

DKR capacity at 100,119 latest I’ve seen. In past couple years, we’ve set all-time record for attendance. https://texaslonghorns.com/facilities/dkr-texas-memorial-stadium/1#crowds

Texas and Texas A&M both get some breaks as they will face the 14 and 15 seeds (ole miss and vandy) in the quarterfinals. Both teams should advance, pretty easily, and set up a rematch tomorrow. -
Unless you are the visiting team.
