  1. Past hour
  2. Thanks Joe. I feel like it's officially football season now.
  3. Yep we’re old. His dad’s hs film is still Top 5 I’ve ever seen.
  4. QB Brandon is a terrific dual-threat talent but zero experience at this level. Glad we are playing the true freshman QB in game 1 of SEC play. Muschamp will have a plan to confuse him, keep him bottled up and attack him when the situations arise. Muschamp at Florida did a masterful job in the 2nd half vs A&M Manziel. FL 20 and A&M 17 (5 punts, 1 Fumble 0 pts by A&M in 2nd half)
  5. We having an event in Knoxville next month sir?
  6. I would love to have a gathering of all of the OTF staff and fans on Thursday before the first game at Scholz. It would be nice to meet everyone.
  7. Faizon Brandon’s official list of finalists consisted of Tennessee, Alabama, LSU, and NC State. Brandon will play Alabama and LSU this season in Knoxville
  8. 🤘🤘🤘
  9. I can now proceed with my Monday! Thanks Joe 😎
  10. Today
  11. A look at the Tennessee schedule before Texas comes to Knoxville. GT in Atlanta is the only somewhat challenge. I like Brent Key a lot but don’t know how competitive you can expect them to be with Haynes King gone, Buster Faulkner gone, and several other staffers like Gideon.
  12. Brandon, a true freshman and former five-star, won the job over rising 2nd year legacy QB George Macintyre. this has been the expected slotting for a few months now but is now official
  13. Which mods are going to be there?
  14. Todd Dodge gets my vote! He did not quite live up to his billing out of high school, but he did accomplish a lot for the Longhorns at at time when he was needed.🤘
  15. Texas still at No. 5 for CBS's Gary Parrish https://www.cbssports.com/college-basketball/news/college-basketball-rankings-mark-mitchell-kentucky-early-top-25-and-1/ Texas plays: 1. Florida - twice 8. Louisville 11. Arkansas 12. Kentucky 16. Tennessee 17. UCLA - very likely ***18. St. John's - exhibition game October 24*** 19. Alabama 24. Miami
  16. This has been my longstanding head-canon
  17. Dickson then Heard IMO. We did Jerrod dirty not playing him and letting him grow at QB
  18. Wish we could’ve had a shot at Florida in the 2008 season. I think we would’ve beaten them and might not have been too close. Same with Bama in 2009 I’d Colt doesn’t get hurt we realistically could’ve won back to back Nattys.
  19. I wish we can interview Earl Thomas on OTF
  20. Neither nationally recruited … both were absolutely talent maximizers
  21. Colt and Earl were 2 of the absolute best to ever do it at Texas!!!! College football returns this week. We’ve just about made it folks. 🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼🤘🏼
  22. When you think of No. 12 at Texas, it starts and ends with Colt McCoy and Earl Thomas. McCoy finished his Texas career with a 45-8 record as a starter, 13,253 passing yards, 112 passing touchdowns and 14,824 yards of total offense. He was a two-time consensus All-American, won the Walter Camp Award twice, and took home the Maxwell, Davey O’Brien and Manning Awards in 2009. Texas eventually retired his No. 12. Thomas was just as dominant on the other side of the ball. In only two seasons, he piled up 149 tackles, 10 interceptions and 33 pass breakups. His eight interceptions in 2009 set a Texas single-season record, and he earned consensus All-American honors while helping lead the Longhorns to the national championship game. 12 days until kickoff, yall.
  23. Michael 'Longball' Dickson was one of the most dominant players at his position in college football history. When your punter is the best player on the field for both teams, he gets the nod.
  24. You think that's bad? Wait until Muschamp's Defense gives up a big play or someone misses a tackle, etc.
  25. It doesn't help when our defensive backs give 10 yard cushions to the receivers. We played scared in the secondary last year. I don't see that happening this year.
  26. Much ado about nothing. He had a moment. Lighten up.
