  1. Past hour
  2. Man I loved the Cash twins. Theys when I first was a Texas follower
  3. 19 days until Texas football, so today’s countdown takes us to No. 19... The headliner is Justin Tucker, and there really isn’t much debate there. Before becoming one of the greatest kickers in NFL history, Tucker was already money at Texas. He finished his Longhorn career 40-of-48 on field goals, scored 190 points, earned Second-Team All-Big 12 honors in 2011 and gave us one of the most memorable moments in the rivalry with Texas A&M when he drilled the walk-off field goal in College Station in 2011. Kerry Cash put together an excellent career at tight end from 1987-90, finishing with 71 career receptions and earning All-America honors in 1990 while helping Texas win the Southwest Conference championship. He went on to become an NFL Draft pick in 1991. Blaine Irby is another name a lot of Texas fans will remember. His career numbers don’t tell the whole story because of the devastating knee injury he suffered in 2008. He was a finalist for the FWAA Courage Award in 2011. And then there’s Brandon Jones, who was a four-year contributor in the Texas secondary. He finished his career with 233 tackles and four interceptions, was voted a team captain in 2019, earned All-Big 12 recognition and eventually became a third-round NFL Draft pick. Texas also currently has a pair of No. 19s to keep an eye on: EDGE Zina Umeozulu and QB MJ Morris.
  4. This probably helps the Cowboys get to 7 wins.
  5. @CJ VogelArch has to take care of the ball better and not throw that pass if Littleton is reading the play! I’m not worried he’ll play much better in the next scrimmage with the different format.
  6. And Miami dismisses transfer WR that would have been their 5th/4th guy more than likely. https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49637571/miami-hurricanes-dismiss-wr-transfer-cam-vaughn-team
  7. Today
  8. 1. Ohio State 2. Notre Dame 3. Oregon 4. Georgia 5. Indiana 6. Miami 7. Texas I have no idea, I could just keep making it up after that. But I think Texas lands comfortably in the 4-7 area.
  9. Hopefully, the Horns will not be top 5 - definitely want the team to be hungry and have a ‘ us against the world’ mentality
  10. Gird up your loins ... SEC style!!! "2. SEC. Again, 50% of SEC conference games finished within one score last year, and seven of 16 teams finished within a game of the top of the league. (That almost made it feel like a letdown when, with all the combinations available, we ended up with the fifth Bama-Georgia title game in nine years.) This year, per SP+, we're starting out with seven teams projected within a game of the top two: Georgia (7.0), Texas (6.0), LSU (5.8), Texas A&M (5.6), Tennessee (5.2), Oklahoma (5.2) and Alabama (5.1). There's no reason to think this race will be any less wild." https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49629936/college-football-2026-how-get-most-fun-season-kiffin-belichick
  11. Well, maybe final ranking before selection for playoffs.
  12. The only ranking that matters will be on the night of January 25th.
  13. 1 - Ohio State 2 - ND 4 - Texas (I hope we are not higher than 4). 8 - ou 12 - aTm
  14. Texas will be 4 CJ Sooners 10 Your aggies 11
  15. Notre Dame number 1 thanks to their weaka$$ schedule. Texas is 6 my best guess. I think there’s still some out there that think Arch is a flop. Us against them baby all the way to the natty!
  16. Man a lot of teams are getting hit hard that’s rough
  17. Who will be No. 1? Where will Texas be ranked?
  18. Two big losses for South Carolina https://www.espn.com/college-football/story/_/id/49634614/south-carolina-loses-wide-receivers-jayden-sellers-jayden-gibson-season-ending-injuries
  19. Three young kids … just brutal
  20. Seems like he’s been trying to get to Dallas for a few years and finally did it. I don’t expect just a whole lot of production but if he can still get to the QB somewhat frequently, it may not be a bad deal.
  21. @Jeff HoweDo you expect to see more consistent playing time for big playmakers like Arch, Wingo, Cam, Collin, etc., in the next scrimmage? From what I heard from Sark, it sounded like just when these guys started to find a rhythm, they were pulled, so it is difficult to get an accurate assessment. Whereas, if these playmakers are left in for a while, they can find a rhythm and really start to light it up.
