  1. Past hour
  2. That's it for Schloss and for the 2026 Texas baseball season.
  3. On challenging the play at the plate and the tag-up, Schloss said the tag-up wasn't initially reviewable. Schloss isn't even sure how he ended up with another review, but the crew took a look at it. "Thankfully," he said, "we got to challenge three times."
  4. This Offense was so terrible and anemic vs Georgia makes you want to throw up 😡😡😡😡 where the heck was the offense that thumped Bama!!! Heck OU didn't struggle to hit off Georgia 🙄
  5. Schloss hasn't gotten to talk to the team yet. He wants to gather himself and think about what he's going to say.
  6. Schloss: "You'd think the kids that are at home... You'd think they'd want to play in the College World Series for teams like Texas."
  7. Schloss on trying to build on a trip to Omaha: "We've got to get home. We've got a lot of work to do."
  8. Schloss said Georgia had Vigue where they wanted him in the first inning. He liked having Mendoza up there, but he chased a pitch out of the strike zone and Vigue locked in from there.
  9. Schloss: "We didn't execute well on offense and Georgia's pitching was outstanding."
  10. On the Pendergrass overturned catch, Schloss said all catch/non-catch plays should be reviewed. "When I saw the replay, I saw where it could go both ways," he said. "That's just the breaks. It wasn't our night."
  11. Luke “Shove God” Harrison fought the last half of the season.
  12. "It's meant everything to me," Tinney said of what it means to wear the Texas uniform. "I truly believe the coaching staff here changed my life," he said. "I'm just extremely grateful."
  13. Harrison: "There's no doubt that the standard will continue to get raised."
  14. Harrison on where the program is as he leaves: "I see it as just getting started."
  15. Do we need to make a change with our hitting coach?
  16. Harrison said he told the team earlier this year that if he didn't make it to Omaha, his time as a Longhorn would be a failure. "A couple of things didn't go our way," he said, but he's proud that the Longhorns got to Omaha. "I'll remember this time with a smile forever," he said.
  17. Our 5-9 was terrible. I really hope we hit the portal hard and field a lineup next year that can battle 1-9. Hard to be consistent offensively when you are dependent on 3 guys to perform every game (4 when ARod got more comfortable at the end of the year). Hurts to think if we kept those two portal guys from getting drafted how different our lineup would have been. Do you think that will be an emphasis this offseason?
  18. Harrison, while fighting back tears: "I'll never wear this uniform again, but I'll be a Longhorn the rest of my life."
  19. Luke Harrison said Max Weiner has been very influential in his life. He thanked Weiner for "believing in me whenever I didn't believe in myself."
  20. Mississippi State scored 21 runs in two games, we couldn't even get two.
  21. On the tag, Tinney said did what he wanted to do in terms of applying the tag. It just didn't work out.
  22. Schloss: "I'm proud of the season we had, finishing in Omaha, and look forward to being back."
  23. Schloss on facing Dylan Vigue: "We didn't execute our approach against him very well."
