As good as Ali was it's pretty crazy that 188 pound rocky Marciano went 49-0. P4P arguably the best to ever do it. If Rocky had been 6'5 230 he'd probably have decapitated somebody. Was before my time but Jim Thorpe and Ted Williams were spectacular in many areas. Many argue Jim Brown was better at lacrosse than he was at football. My grandfather saw him dominate Lacrosse for Syracuse at Holy Cross.

He’s headed down the Colt McCoy/Chase Daniel path in the NFL, which is a great gig if you can get one.

once there are guaranteed slots in the CFP for big10 and SEC, this may not be as important. if of the 16 playoff teams, 4 are SEC and 4 are Big 10, then a 3 loss SEC team will make it and have a chance.

Is Shohei Ohtani the best we have ever seen in sports?

MJ, Ali and Ruth(he was a pitcher too). Then I go to Bo Jackson. He was good enough to be a hall of famer in two sports. -

I also thought I read last year that the incoming class was a top 5 class. While the expectation wouldn't be championship, I agree it shouldn't have fallen off the cliff. -
This report says the Broncos do indeed plan on signing Sam to the practice squad:

Sam Ehlinger was released by the Broncos on Friday, but this report indicates he could be brought back as early as today:

It’s been an odd qb year, I feel like the Major programs are weaker at QB compared to some of the “smaller” programs. -

Is Shohei Ohtani the best we have ever seen in sports?
utx2 replied to Gerry Hamilton's topic in On Texas Football Forum
I was very lucky last night. I was able to watch all three of his homers and some strikeouts while flipping between football and baseball. Baseball in general and the playoff's are always awesome. Watching him last night and some through the years he has proven to be a humble and great baseball player. Time will tell if he is best of all time but last night he had one of the most memorable nights that I find similar to the Kirk Gibson home run on two bad legs. Amazing individual accomplishment. -

Don't disagree. His most glaring issue is ... he's trying to be something he simply is not, to your point. -

Yeah he's average. Everything he does is forced. -
To your point ... I never thought I would see a golfer win 4 majors in a row (Tiger slam) ... and it's not talked about enough, but he was The Players Champion too and Canadian Open tournament champion at same time too. He held the five most coveted tournament titles at the same time. Tiger and Shohei are doing things we had/have never seen in professional sports.
