  2. I think you have to look at several factors. First the strength of p4 defenses you play greatly impacts your offense production. We’ve faced 3 -p4 defenses and all rank pretty high. Ohio state ranks in the top 5, OU ranks in the top 15 and Tenn is around top 25 (off the top of my head). Second, you have to look ant the quality of the non-p4 competition. Even if you look at our non P4 competition in UTSA and Tx St they are better teams than most of what the other P4 teams face. We had 380 yards vs a then top 10 OU defense. Georgia has a top 30ish ranked offense but most of those points came vs very weak non-conference opponents. Georgia has 303 yards against OU, while we had 380. It’s one data point but it illustrates how some of the teams weak schedules can really influence their team statistical rankings midway through the season. Top 10 defenses generally win out over top offenses. We held Ohio State (top 5 ranked offense) to around 300 yards of offense. Besides Texas, Ohio State’s offense has faced very weak defenses, other than maybe Iowa.
  3. Texas is 2-0 against Top 25 opponents this year. 17-14 overall against Top 25 under Steve Sarkisian
  4. My sarcasm meter picked that up.
  5. Who cares.... Beat Florida Beat Ole Miss Win October.
  6. Texas is 11-point favorites.
  7. CJ, what is the line on the game today after the report on the Florida QB?
  8. Jameson Williams was an absolute monster at Alabama in 2021 but 1 great year shouldn’t get you top 60. Especially top 35
  9. All 3 games have come down to the very last play. We Longhorn fans have been holding our breath while the ball is in the air hoping for the best. 2 out of 3 worked out. Pleeese stop, give us an easy victory at home ! Much easier for my blood pressure. Hook'em
  10. There was "Most talented offense since 2005?" talk in the offseason. I know we've played some tough defenses but what we're seeing is inexcusable.
  11. I don’t care who plays and who doesn’t…if we lose it’ll be because of more of the same from the Texas team. I’m so disillusioned with the 2026 team and this staff right now.
  12. We do particularly well against backup QBs.
  13. 100%. What I get tired of hearing is we had to play the top 3 defensive minds. But, we all see the issue that every DC knows how to defend Sark’s offense. Blitz and overload the front. The defenders can get to the QB before any receiver even turns back to look for the ball.
  14. No, that was his brother, who did not play.
  15. No doubt. Philo will be out and Baugh will run 250 on us or something
  16. Wasn't the guy who had the INT return for a TD in the OU game listed as 'doubtful' in their mid-week injury report because of an amputated leg?
  17. Yeah I mean that really wasn’t their fault. Yes it was a team loss and everyone on each side of the ball deserves some credit for that loss, but the defense did pretty good overall.
  18. On that punt, his avoidance of blocking the rusher that blocked and recovered it, did look conspicuous.
  19. The last time key starters were out on offense we lost (last week)
  20. How much money he has made for tanking plays? Or is he THAT bad?
  21. Hearing Tony Hills gave me another headache. Maybe I can’t handle watching this Texas team.
  22. Even more frustrating hearing all the coaches and former players seeing what we all see and still the head coach refuses to change or adjust.
  23. Careful, a little voice of reason does not usually appease the mob, whose thirst is only quenched by blood.
  24. I remember fans getting a bit irked by Mack’s inability to get over the hump. Then he listened to advice, realized his approach to the offense didn’t fit the players, and let Vince be Vince. Sark is at the same crossroads. The question is will he make changes as needed in order to win? TBD
