  1. Past hour
  2. BS you can stand and walk with a ACL, MCI tear.
  3. Docs examining the knee on the field have a very good feel immediately if it is an ACL, so that not being mentioned yet seems positive.
  4. That’s it. I’m calling abuela. Hoping the big fella is okay.
  5. Well Jordan Coleman best be ready to go if Goosby can’t.
  6. My favorite type of message board posting is when we get medical opinions
  7. If you were an Ohio State fan and the news came out that Jeremiah Smith had a knee injury, I promise that your first response wouldn't be "If they don't have the depth to withstand that injury, that is a coaching problem!"
  8. Likely correct. Something was concerning enough to do further testing. Hopefully it’s an mcl sprain or a meniscus.
  9. I just spoke to an orthopedic surgeon that I work with and he said if it was an ACL, MCl tear that he wouldn’t be able to stand and walk. He said it could be a slight sprain, or some kinda of patella or hamstring injury
  10. that is the thing- they arent saying either way. so no one knows
  11. For sure. Him getting a MRI isn’t a sign it’s serious. It would be malpractice not get get a MRI.
  12. @Jordan91 Most people think Kob's favorite player was Jordan. Not true. It was a white boy. Who?
  13. yeah but they would be saying its "just precautionary"
  14. How many non-contact knee injuries does one team need man
  15. Tore my acl last year playing basketball i wasn't able to walk without help immediately after. Definitely a good sign if he was able to walk off
  16. Don’t be serious. Honestly put him on ice till the OSU game.
  17. That's not entirely true. With a player like Goosby and the future he has ahead of him, a trainer can certainly manipulate the knee and check for resistance or instability. However, the smart move is to get an MRI and see exactly what is or isn't damaged before making any assumptions.
  18. Bobby wouldn’t have told us this if he was told not to tell us this… just tea leaves.
  19. Next man up! Good thing we actually have some depth this year. Hope it isn’t too serious.
  20. Unfortunately I have experienced this myself and is true. Thought hey maybe ill be out for a few weeks, boom ACL.
  21. Not necessarily. This is a 1st team Left Tackle and probably first round pick in this years NFL draft, Those guys get treatment like this just to be on the safe side.
  22. For sure. Encouraging but doesn’t mean too much. There’s been UFC fighters that go on to win a fight after tearing an acl.
  23. Well Kobe shot a free throw with a torn Achilles…
  24. A player walking off on his own and having a torn ACL is not uncommon. Walking off the field on your own doesn’t tell you anything.
