Good list. Miles is a lot of fun to watch. Unfortunately as you alluded to above there is a serious issue with the officiating. Often times I find myself trying to watch but turning the game off because of the inconsistencies by the officials. I'm also still a little bitter about The San Antonio Stars having left for Vegas. That should be a Texas team dang it!

SMU was already on probation for the same violations when the death penalty was decided.

I have seen plenty of drama in Federal Court. It isn't as common as in State Court, but it all depends on the judge. Heck, sometimes the drama in Federal Court can be worse.

Big win today. This was our first CWS win in 5 years (since beating Miss St in 2021 to force a bracket deciding game).

Because they are the weak and feckless Bush League 12. From what I have read they are only going to try to keep Tech out of the Conference Championship thereby trying to guarantee that they would have 2 teams in the CFP. What a joke. I am so glad we got out of that joke of a conference. The Big 10 and SEC need to leave the NCAA and do their own thing. They would make ten times the money and each game would draw way more eye balls because there would be so many more good games.

Schloss said not having to use Luke Harrison, Sam Cozart or Brett Crossland today was a huge positive for the Longhorns going into another elimination game tomorrow.

One of Texas' mottos, Schloss said, is that "if you have to feel good to play good, you probably shouldn't show up." He loves the grit of this team.

Schloss: "Anybody that plays this deep into a season... Most teams, by now, you're pretty banged up. Everybody's dealing with something."

Schloss on his team's celebrations after hits and big moments: "A part of college baseball is enthusiasm. As long as it's not directed at the other team, that's cool."

Dang…I was hoping he would land in Austin.

Schloss on Doza, Ruger and A-Rod embodying the spirit of the team: "The common theme among those three guys is that they wanted to be at Texas. They wanted to be a Texas Longhorn."

Schloss felt A-Rod's triple was a triple all the way.

"Not that I'd tell you if he did," Schloss said when asked about Zane Adams tipping pitches. "Sometimes, it's better to be lucky than good," he said. "Today was our day."

Schloss on Ruger's performance and what he's meant to the team: "You can't coach birthdays. A lot of the older teams are the ones that are successful."

Doza said he's "having a blast," even with the shoulder issue.

Ruger said, "it was awesome" that Brody Walls got the job done out of the bullpen. "It didn't surprise me who we went to next," he said.
