  1. Based on the survey I received a couple of weeks ago, it is coming. No doubt about it. I know the lean is to keep the jersey clean, so how about this for an idea: We go to Nike and say we don’t want to add a Sponsor but it makes economic sense to do so, are you willing to step up and pay the price to keep the eyeballs only on your logo and not put on another companies logo? Hook’em!!!
  2. I struggle with it: What's the problem? The QB Room at Indiana versus that at Texas. It's a No Brainer! Take a deep dive into the holistics of QB, WR Coaches, Play Calling, etc.....that whole ecosystem for you to go the next level. Don't be like Cam Coleman, while at Auburn, and put yourself in a position that you can't be successful, One year of success doesn't make a Program. Its Burnt Orange for Me and its not even close. Lets Go Sales, we would love to have on the 40. Hook'em!!!
  3. I like D Williams. Everyone of these guys are good and bring a skill set to The Table for Texas to be Successful. Candidly, it’s the intangibles for me that separate them. The physicality has to be there. NT=DP. Discipline, Focus, Consistency, Execution, Heart, Attitude, Mindset……Give me someone who is Poor, Smart, Hungry and has the Desire to The Best They Can Be. Performance Driven, Result Oriented! Let’s Go!!! Hook’em!!!
  4. Happy Happy Birthday CJ! Wishing You All The Best On This Special Day That Is Celebrated As Your Birthday!!! Appreciate all you do for us here in Longhorn Nation! Enjoy!!!
  5. Thanks Jeff for your thoughts and in recapping the week. Good Stuff! À lack of Consistency was the take away for me. The talent is there, why was it not able to produce at the next level? The one thing that stuck out to me offensively was: During the regular season there was a real theme of batters taking pitches and working the count with the intent of driving up a pitch count for the opposing pitchers. Do I have that right? If so, at this level when narrowing the field to the top teams and pitchers, does that strategy work? I mean, I don’t know and I trust in Schloss - so it’s just a question. But, it was something that really struck a cord with me. Questions I would have are, what was our success rate at the plate when: 1) a batter was ahead in the count versus 2) a batter behind in the count. It seems to me that we sat on that 1st pitch over and over (regular season strategy) - and at this level, pitchers challenged the batter on the 1st pitch; therefore, we were constantly behind in the count. Offensively, we had to constantly dig and grind at the plate. Just an observation. Not being critical or negative. I believe in Schloss. I could be dead wrong, but it seemed as if we were constantly behind on the count; therefore, not finding favorable pitches forcing us to chase. Your thoughts? Thanks Jeff. CJ, Blake you got any comments? Keep up the Terrific Work. We appreciate all you do. Hook’em!!!
  6. Matthew, can you assist him with his full screen view? Ha!
  7. Disappointed that the game at Tenn will be 11 AM CST as I was looking forward to a Night Game. What are they going to do: Put LSU and The Aggies as the night game?
  8. A sad day for Sports and specifically Team Sports. In a legal manner (which is where this ended) this is an "eligibility" issue and there has been many cases contesting "eligibility"; such as, Red Shirt, Waivers, Transfers through The Portal, Grades and even conflicts with law enforcement, etc. With this news today, why not bring Patrick Mahommes back?. He has won NFL MVPs and Super Bowls., so what is left there for him? TTU and Campbell can find a judge and hey, the next thing you know Mahommes is suiting up and playing in Lubbock. I mean, why not? That would be an "eligibility" issue which The NCAA does not have a winning record in cases let alone enforcement. There are no longer any lines in College Football. None. A sad day!!!
  9. Schloss seems a bit confused here. The hardest thing to do is to admit you’re wrong. …….Rujos gone to far
  10. Proud of our Lady Longhorns! Congrats and All The Best on The Journey to The CWS!!!
  11. Done. Thanks for the opportunity and dialogue. Have a Great Day!
  12. I agree with all the points above. I would like to add that I think it is Huge that this will be the 2nd game of the year versus coming out of the gate in '25. I don't think it can be under estimated the impact of a Test Run for Sark, Arch and the skilled Players on Offense and then of course on Defense Muschamps and Gideon get a Game with The Leader wearing the Green Dot under their Belt. And it all gets to be done at Home! Hook'em!!!
  13. I see it very differently than most....Fans are jumping on Texas, Sark and The Staff. If a Freshman came to Texas and expected to start and contribute as a Freshman, then his expectations are out of whack. There is a huge disconnect with many of these 4 and 5 Star High School Recruits. It starts with their Attitudes and Entitlement. Give me a kid who is Poor, Smart, Hungry and has the Desire to the Best everyday and with those traits he will out compete most 4 Stars. This is not a NIL or Portal Problem, this a problem with the kid. I'm beginning to lose patience with many of these kids who run from challenges and adversity. This from Tom Brady:
  14. Agree with all the points above. But, I would like to add that IU roster are collectively a ton of 3 star players versus the 4 and 5 stars at Texas. Therefore, it comes down to Coaching and Development of the players you do have. I ask this: Why did it take a Fall Camp and 5 games with two losses before Flood and Sark to figure out the best O Line combination? Moving Hutson to guard and bringing in Robertson to be center. We constantly discuss players in high school for recruiting, portal, NIL, etc but rarely discuss the growth and maturity of Coaches: Decision making, situational awareness, communication and other traits to be successful. IU is doing it with less talent than other programs. Why? Overpaid Coaches that have figured out that if you win 8+ games and get to 10 from time to time you can ride that gravy train and not get fired…..so, why work hard to train and develop players when you can just recruit talent by using your name, brand and logo.
