I hope a meteorite hits their stadium and they all blow up, and it catches their oil fields on fire, and all their profits go up in smoke. But also not upset about the 2 we lost. But still the blowing up thing regardless.

We evaluate really well, maybe they are just using our evals on players they know they can out $$$ us.
-
Sounds childish doesnโt it. They are picking on us. If they want to use their money like this, they can.

I'm impressed that the Tech boosters are spending so much money on their team. Hope it pays off for them.
-
Nobody. Thatโs the problem with NCAA, make rules but no cops to enforce. Also, no balls when they do have evidence.

Kreul is a pure pass rusher Buck, behind Collin for 1 year. Would be ideal. Henderson is a do it all Buck. Would be great. Carlton is a Jack, same as Wesley, good player, times his jump well but isnโt a great pass rusher. BPW is a Jack, might be a 3tech but needs 25-30 lbs. I donโt prefer BPW or Carlton bc both play Jack, we need a Buck for sure. Barnes has some intrigue for sure, seems to be able to do a lot. Can play Buck and might grow into a Jack.

Iโm not worried about โTech sticking it to Texas.โ Honestly, Texas being in the SEC, having Top 5 talent, Arch (then Lacey/Bell), we really donโt have a reason to worry about what Tech does. Lubbock can do Lubbock, weโll HookEm and win it all.

Tech better make the Big XII Championship game or itโs bye bye Joey time!

So, are we adding up all these offers? Between softball and football they arenโt at the 20 million yet? Who is going to enforce this sh$t

Not sure if they will be able to afford to keep their existing roster in place but with their existing roster perhaps they donโt want to.

Spurning Texas for Texas Tech is literally spurning a HC with pro experience and connections for a HC whoโs spent the majority of his career in HS. Short sighted is an extreme euphemism. But itโs honestly a great filter. Guys with a HS/Texas Tech mindset are probably not who we want in our locker room.

This was what was meant by โfake moneyโ. Most of these deals are contingency deals, I.e., if the settlement is struck down, here is your pay. These are risky deals because I guarantee you these schools are selling the fact that the settlement will get struck down.

I NEVER SAID NFL! ๐

Love the word โpotentiallyโ in that reporting. I think offers like that are going to be common. Weโll see what recruits want to do with it. Frankly, Tech hasnโt done a whole hell of a lot with the players they have recruited from high school.
